To function, the club requires facilities. Facilities have to be paid for somehow. Once we move, the price will go up - no doubt about it.

We are calling their prices silly, whilst they play in and operate a mega-multi-million pound stadium. Whether you agree with it or not, the cost has to be borne and we, as customers must pay it - that is how business works I'm afraid!

No, they just cram us into their horrible seated 'away' end, unless they have enough home fans, in which case they make us stand at the far end of the North Sea when even binoculars would struggle.

I'd choose the extra £2 or £3 at the KC any day of the week!

Fortunately, as BCT says, we are all benefitting from the cheap deals for home supporters via the ST deals. This will ensure that the 'home' gates are strong regardless of the away support.

BTW, I cannot justify why the seats are £23 in the away end and only £19 in the home one - that's a bit harsh IMO.

Untill you reach capacity at any stadium then fleecing the regulars is not the way forward, otherwise the facilities will close.

If you can reach capacity and create waiting list then its dandy, otherwise its titanic bound.

If 200 wakey fans won't pay the extra at the KC and don't go then the increased price for the ones that do go will not cover the loss.(and i will add its the best stadium in SL imo) so HULL FC make a small loss on the away fans.

If the ST ticket deals stay around the £100 mark then it can't be complained about, but I suspect they will be double +.

Dont let a few pounds stop us supporting our team ,Pull it back on something else just have two pies and not three ,Have four pints and not five ,Only get one bag of werthers for the ride over .Happy days.

I'm sure those that can do will make it over, but the fact remains that some people/families are struggling with inflated bills and its tough going for them.

Not expensive for junior season tickets holders, my children get away games for free with their season tickets. Fantastic value for money. Hull is may favourite ground with the best facilities and best stewards. We have a member of our family who is dissabled and the service and way we are looked after at Hull is second to none. I would be happy to pay £ 10 more than we have pay for any other ground to watch Trinity play at the KC.

afraid TRB has this right if you want to go stadiums like the KC then be prepared for a higher price it is a business and if run correctly will keep your club ticking over nicely in super league,
what makes this expensive is when you turn up as a family it cost us best part of £70 to go to Widnes

Thats fair enough and its nice to read positive posts about RL but what about those struglling to find that extra money, fans that want to support the team but struggle to finance it.

Same here - I'm unmoved by the bells and whistles of modern stadia; I'd happily tolerate basic facilities in return for being able to stand on the terraces near to the action.

Only cos you could get close enough to abuse Feather.

Sadly all SL clubs will soon be in identikit, soulless, plastic stadiums, that's progress for you. Oh and you get to pay through the nose for it, brilliant.

The best thing about the old grounds is being able to hear the tackle impact!

When Franny Stephenson did a presentation about it what seems like years ago, there were very definitely plans for standing areas.

Still the case - seating in the side stands and standing at the ends!
