You may be right but it depends how the deal is done. I'm not sure but if its a season long loan for example that free's up some valuable cap space for Warrington. They may also be willing to part fund this, probably by proxi through a sponsor or similar. As i say you may be right but if you remember we did Warrington a big favour a few years back by taking a big name player on loan ??? So I wouldn't totally dismiss it

Seem to a remember a club voice (possibly MC) saying something along the lines of 'a favour was still owed for helping Warrington with a salary cap issue'

No I remember something along those lines, can't remember guys name but he arrived injure though we did get a few games from him towards the end 0f 2016 I think.

If true, the MCB to centre seems to be deemed a failure.

I remember it as Simon Grix.

Why, MCB is primarily a winger and that's where we want his pace, lets be honest the MCB/Kershaw mash up was fortunate but I doubt it was ever the plan when they bought him back. Its a nice option but both too inexperienced in those positions to do a full season imo. Does make you wonder where Bill fits in and just how long he's expected to be out.

iIF Atkins comes back to Trinity, MCB would naturally move to the wing.
He was only put there to accommodate a young winger on debut, which Chester obviously felt was better than having an equally young lad (Croft) making his debut at centre.
It worked pretty well against Leeds but, I think an almost full strength Hull side are a completely different proposition.

I think it was Simon Grix, but he had a serious injury when he came to Trinity and never played for us, he went back to Warrington at the end of that season, and it was thought at the time, it was an arrangement between the two clubs to reduce Warrington wage bill for them to bring in another player.

The favour was GRix who never played a game for us but wasn't expected to by either party I'll bet. Wire needed the cap space to bring in Chris Sandow.
Ben Harrison was a full, above board loanee who played a few "poor" games for us.

For me Warrington have flattered to deceive as has been shown with two recent defeats. A few injuries and they may regret losing a known quantity.

Also can they afford it? If they could they wouldn’t have to ship Atkins out, just a thought.
