Korki is a wildcat through and through we are the only club who he will ever perform for. It will be a utter shame if we don't sign him hes a fan favourite and he loves putting the red , white and blue on. Hes been outstanding for us since he returned.

Lets not get too carried away with Korki just yet. Yes he has played well since his return nothing spectacular but getting through his fair share of work and not too many penalties. That said any deal would have to be right for the club and if he's looking for good money then I hope he doesn't get it from us. Though i'm sure if he doesn't end up signing it will all be the clubs fault...

I think you're right about that, he probably is Wakey through and through, but you'll find players in most teams that are like that. We had Paul Reilly who would run through brick walls for the Giants but never been the same elsewhere. Then we have Drewy, I know he's playing ok at the moment but I don't honestly think, from what I've seen of him, that he has played to the standard he played at with us.
I think for Korki's sake and his career he would be better off staying at Wakey where he belongs, but is it down to money like it was with Drewy?

I just feel he has some unfinished business at salford he carried our pack that year single handed. With the team we have now its better balanced and i feel it would allow him to produce his best form week in week out. and weather he stays at Wakefield or goes he sounds like he'll be remember fondly i dont know if you would put him in the moden day "legend" category because the word is banded around too much imo but thats up to you guys i surpose to decide umongst yourselfs.

With Stapo and Big Phil moving on from us we'd be looking for a prop forward to give us that drive and korki fits the bill. but depends on the money situation on what he wants/what we can offer and if Huddesfield want to play ball.

Has been very good the last 2 matches ... I think he has played his best rugby at Wakefield and if he wants to get back to his best again should stay with Wakefield...

He has been spot on in every game since he joined us - a far superior player IMHO to the one who left us. Whether that is down to him maturing or some good coaching I don't know. What I do know is all the faults in his game that made me cringe when Wakey fans touted him as a legend have gone. I still don't think he is legend material but he is doing a great job and I hope we sign him and he then kicks on from there.

It just goes to show that props get better as they get older.

Maybe he’s lost that machismo that burdened him early on in his career. He seems more focused on getting the job done rather then proving he is the hard man (which in a sense is what gained him the legendary status in some people eyes). Like I said his form and the fact he doesn’t count on the import quota makes him an ideal signing for Trinity.

he's got better, cut out the crap and is now a decent prop, no way is he worth the money he's on and will have to take a pay cut if he stays at wakey.

Nope, played F/B. The hardest position on the park, requires the ability to see the game as a whole, always be in the right place at the right time, clean up other peoples messes and have the bottle to take on the big lads one on one and finally catch the bombs that no one else want. Sums me up perfectly.

f/b hardest position??? I play prop... It may not be the thinking mans position or need to have the most ability but its the most demanding on the body....
