No that never happened. It was just a tongue in cheek rumour started on a tongue in cheek thread which was allegedly unsubstantiated

Why is it crap? Its common knowledge that rugby players fall out on oand off the pitch regularly. I don't mind if our players are having a bit of a do with each other, shows they care about the situation. Nikau and Blackmore at Cas didn't get on but on the pitch they were professionals and did what was best for the team, thats all we can ask from our players, at the end of the day out of a squad of around 30 players you're going to get some falling out, especially when things aren't goiong so well.

However let's get this straight - your version of events is not crap because clearly we should all accept your word as gospel. Other version appear to differ. Tell me why I should accept what you say and discard the rest?

I have no idea what happened I don't pretend otherswise. What I do know is I've been on these forums for years and time after time one know all after another (not saying you are) claims to be the sole oracle of all that is fact. Only to never get it right not once despite sounding totally convinced in their own authority. Also never an apology when found to be wrong - great.

I'll find out what happened and when I do and if you are right I'll doff my cap to you. Until then I 'll stick with my belief that 90% of what is posted on here is selective at best and utter crap at worst.

Your point is valid enough and if it's true it's no big deal in fact it's just a bit crap.

Sorry it's not personal I'm just not all that impressed with RL fans these days.

I'm not privvy to what went off and have not claimed to be, the only thing I know is that players from all clubs fall out from time to time and as I said as long as they get on with it on the pitch then I'm not too bothered if they have a bit of fistycuffs.

To be fair it's never been overly impressive but you do make a good point.

Atkins cracked Peterson in France last year, fair enough after a belly full of ale after we won, it happens! It's not been the best few weeks on and off the pitch and I'm sure frustrations been running high and the hot weather in training it's probably gonna take it's toll. Like it's been said it happens and will happen again, that's if it has actually happened! If it was that bad and moore/gleeson etc were involved I'm sure they'd have recieved the same treatment as the other two last week.

When you find out and post it how will we knows its just not more crap posted on this forum, or are we supposed to believe what you say above others?

Just read the report on the reserves in the RLE. Can anyone who went explain how we fared so badly against Shudds reserves when we had Gleeson, Moore, Bibb, Pitts as well as Southernwood, Davy, Wildie and Blake - all either first teamers or beng highly rated in some way? It is not as if Shudds packed their reserves with star names.

(and before it happens, I am not attempting to invite hilarious trolling by the likes of obese daz or cockney w**ker)

As an aside, is the Nathan Armitage in Shudds reserves the one who used to be with us as a youth, as I thought he was at Batley?

Must be somone different. Was at Batley last I heard but was on about quitting the rugby. Was highly rated by Noble too.

Not at all, I agree why should anyone give my comments any special credibility.

I do know the truth now - it's not a crap story as in truth, it is as in having any real meaning - young strong blokes getting slightly overheated in training with an over use of force - punishments and apologies accepted all round - up to you if you accept I have the full version of events
