Nearly all his kicks are from the touchline, he seems to like it that way

If that is the case, why has no one else done it. And why hasn't he done it before?

I know you aren't serious, but it's worth noting, that for the record books, they have to be consecutive attempts - a player can't duck the difficult kicks.

Consecutive 'attempts', he chooses when to attempt. If he declined a kick because he had a twinge in his calf or he had run 100 metres to score and let Rocky take the kick, then would it be the end of the run? -I think not.

Highly possible then with a few kickable penalties. If he doesn’t then no great loss.

It's the run of the goal attempts of the team.

If a player does not take a kick, his run ends, whether his next kick is successful or not.

I don't recall the exact rule on missing (not playing), a game within the run though.

We haven’t appeared to be taking many penalty shots at goal preferring to run it.

The recent options do seem to be pretty clear cut though and I can't say have I have disagreed with many, if any.

We did seem to refuse a lot of take the twos under Chester with that one home v Leeds in the pouring rain in 2019 for ever in my memory. Leeds took theirs 5 minutes later and kept an narrow lead throughout a dour game.

Then again still remember Finn going for two and failing to even reach dead that gave Saints the ball for the last 3 minutes and Grix the stage for his infamous brain fart. Probably Kear's decision.
