I agree he has what he has to work with..............but it his choice to let Ellis go,Mariano go,bring in Molloy(probably the most pointless and waste of money signing ever).
It his team and the buck stops with him,it doesnt take a great deal of salary cap money to at least have a team that are motivated.

I know what your saying but wouldn't you rather Agar sign quality rather than quantity and blend our own youth players in with them ala Wigan. Lyne and molloys wages together would surely get a decent player

Wouldn't want Wildie playing 80, Washbrook can start at 9 with Matty on the bench with Wood at scrum half. Backrow of Mellars, Tautai and Annakin with one of Trout or Walshaw on the bench. Recall for Wilkes. As you say Cowling in the centres. But i guarantee you we will see 10 minute Molloy and Lyne again.

Speaking of Isaac John... he also said that they play a different style, so he obviously needed to figure that out. And Cleary has told him to play his own style.

Even though Isaac was frozen out by Agar around this time last year, he didn't bag his coach. From some of the comments that i have read sounds like he was thinking of leaving League all together. All that in a year of being here. Hope he does well at Panthers, but i wish we could've had it here. Different coaches get different things from there players.

You know what El Rey...knowing my lifetime with Wakefield and knowing hte way we are with the current set up, I wouldn't be surpised beyond belief( like I was with GANSON not knowing how to judge an offside in the Hull derby) if we beat Wigan..but this is Wakefield. We are a badly organised outfit and the ins and outs are irrelevant, we just stumble along and the personnel make little difference to the pattern... when that is clear, that is the time to change the coach
