Well it sounds like we had a dig, didn't get nilled, didn't get pumped, scored more than 1 try. Need to back it up against Hull next week and you just never know?!

Better than expected, battled away and was in it until Proctor screwed everything up for us. Promising signs but that doesn’t get you any points, we absolutely must now pick up the win next week against Hull.

To only lose by 14 points away to a team of superstars is clearly a step in the right direction...let's hope we can kick on from this and finally secure our first win next week

Great performance tonight . Proctor played big mins and having excellent game up to red card . Morgan smith great game .. scored some great tries and defended like trojans . Extra man and pace for them won it . Atoni shocking … did nothing … ! Rest couldn’t give anymore , really enjoyed it !

Great performance but we lost and never led, i cant comment on the game i havent been and only thing ive seen is the wire 1st try which i wouldnt call tackeling like trojans by 2 individuals..that said the scoreline was not as near as bad as i thought it would be and it was nice to be in a game with 25 to go ,sounds like the red card was crucial.but unfortunately its now 11on bounce.

We went 12 .0 down and honestly thought we’d be out of it by HT .. but we scored a good try , found some belief and like I say defended well against the pace of Wire .. esp when down to 12 . I think if we win one Cas will start to stress and play panic rugby.

You out enthused us for the first half and most of the game to be fair. Had Proctor not gone off I think you would’ve nicked it. Proctor was, as stated, playing well up until then. Your first win can’t be far away.

Think if you play like that for the rest of the season, you've got a good chance of staying up.

Definitely the turning point. Was it really bad enough to justify a red? Last season you’d graze the chin and it was a red but this season it seems you can clothesline players and still remain on the field.

Highlights of last night's game already on Wire TV.

Trinity will beat Leeds without a doubt. Rhinos have no passion or leadership. Good job we got our wins early to stave off relegation. Forget Cas, Leeds are your target to avoid relegation.

The Giants aren’t out of it either, their results and performances under Watson have been awful for almost 2 years now. Everyone expecting Watsons quality and the standard of their playing squad to eventually come good but it just isn’t happening.

Some much better stats from most of the forwards with the ball this time round. Much better go forward by the majority. Though for all his ‘played much better’ Proctor only carried the ball 6 times in his 50-odd minutes for 48 metres. So yes a bit better when he did have the ball but we need more than that from him.

And then there is Atoni. 22 meters at an average gain of 3. Sorry but what does he actually offer? That just isn’t good enough.

Be interesting to see what Applegarth does at halfback next week now with Gale available. I’ve always been a believer that if you play well you keep your place and Smith played very well and doesn’t deserve to be dropped really. Can’t see him leaving Lino out though. Big call to make.
