Miller is just average 3 games out of 4. That’s not good enough and why he doesn’t play in Australia. For some reason he doesn’t get dropped, and he isn’t the only one who should be when due. Needs to go to Sheffield or prove everyone wrong when he gets his chance, which will be the next game (against the club that released him). The expense of average overseas players is massive compared to average UK based players. Am sure that’s what MC and CB are looking at.

Seeing as though Miller takes up a quota space the NRL or NSW cup leagues would be an option. Nobody specific springs to mind out there but there’s plenty of talent out there as decent half backs over here are a rare commodity.

100%. Whether we go up or stay down I will, like most fans on here, be supporting the club and be there most week, work dependant. If we stay up I doubt we’ll be looking at signing Cam Munster at 6, it’ll be a player struggling to get first grade, like Lino, like Croft we Salford or Cust at Wigan. Let’s face it they’re decent SL standard players.

Ratchford is on the 'available' list though along with Gale, Austin and Cogger as known quantities.

I suppose every signing has it’s unknown quantities about the. Gale and Austin are shadows of their respective selves and ageing so personally I’d not be happy if we signed either. I rate Ratchford, again he’s ageing. Not seen much of Cogger, only he dropped a goal against Toulouse last week.MC and Poching will get Multiple players names sent to them by agents on the daily, we got offered Corey Norman months ago. We simply just need to start winning, to not only restore the fans confidence, but our potential future players confidence in actually signing for us.

If it's true that he's signed for Cas next season then we should just play Brad Walker there for the rest of the season IMO. The lad has done really well in every game he has played (which hasn't been nearly enough in my eyes).
Club captain or not, if he's not here next year and not doing it this year then drop him and play someone who might be with us and looks to have a decent game in him.

We have to win some games though and dropping players for less effective isn't an option . Walker is too slow to play half back or hooker imo

I watched the game on Friday between the Giants and Toulouse, a dire game all round, except for Corey Norman he was a class act head and shoulder's above anything else that was on show that night. Once he had settled down into his game he was fantastic his kicking out of hand was exceptional, looks like Toulouse have got a good signing there.

Cogger is bang average, definitely not an improvement on Miller, and wouldn't stand out even in the championship

No matter what ,we will still get more agents touting their players in the coming months looking to secure a contract for their clients whether that’s looking for long term at wakefield or simply a foothold into super league is solely down to our performances going forwards for me . It’s the board and coaches job to sift through the flotsam and jetsam and bring hunger back into the club in the form of players either from overseas or domestic who can have a positive impact on the field and the dressing room . We have to at all cost change the culture and mindset at the club for us to be a more competitive force in super league. Player will come don’t worry and we may yet unearth a gem ,you’d be hard pressed to pick up players as poor as our last incomings ,with hall being the exception and the jury out on Butler

I think to play 200 + NRL games and play SOO you’ve got to be pretty decent. Like you said, he’ll be a good addition, which does us no favours!

I don't think we've ever given Walker a run of games in a settled position to show what he can do ..
He's one of the fall guys in the current setup.

Have we ever seen Walker in his actual position of LF? Feel like he’s been used in every other position except his own
