Body language doesn't look right to me. Don't think we have won one collision. Saints are the best side in the league bya mile but they don't even look like they need to do anything special to wallop us. The way we are getting dominated in the tackle and the line speed of them in comparison to us is frightening. Forget the errors and penalties. Even if we completed sets we'd be kicking from inside our own 30.

Too indisciplined. You can't afford to give penalties away against any Super League team, never mind a red hot Saints. Get an early second half try and we might come to life, otherwise we could be on the end of a drubbing.

Sure we’ve got a decent starting 17 on show but it’s so far from full strength it’s not funny. Trinity are currently cobbled together with Elastoplast and parcel string whilst Sts are at full strength and on song.

To be fair, I don't think Brough is 100% yet. It was clearly a gamble playing him so soon.

As long as he doesn't get injured it's a opposed training session for him to blow the cobwebs off. Worth the risk.

Individually, I think Croft has done well for his debut. Clearly shown he is capable if/when called upon.

My question isn’t about Brough being ready or Chester’s decision to play him when he clearly couldn’t tackle using his injured hand.

My question is that if a clearly undercooked and unfit Brough is still viewed as better than our other halfback options then why have we signed those players?

For the last 4 or 5 Trinity have desperately needed QUALITY halfback cover yet we continue to sign back rowers. If we want to kick on and challenge the latter stages of the competitions then we need to bite the bullet and pay the price for a top quality halfback.
Anything else is playing at it and giving lip service, nothing more!

The only person on the field today that looked like creating anything was a bloke in his very late 30's and not fully fit. I think we are taking a massive risk if we are going to rely totally on him for one more season. Because other than Fifita its hard to think who will create anything.

It was obvious we'd probably get well beaten today. Already people are reading more into it than necessary.

BBCstarted with a Saints montage, nothing about Wakefield. Build up was 90% Saints. Got sick of listening to Dave Woods and Davies constant drooling over Saints. Kear was the only one really coming up with some positive comments for us. Amor on tv panel, no one from Wakey. Don't want special treatment, just a balance.

The booing of danny kirmond by the sts fans today was appalling, he's being an amazing SL servant and is one of the most genuine and honest players in the game

For them to boo him when he was so badly injured is shocking, the sts fans are an embarrassment to the game

I won't mention the continuous shouts for forward passes either

Just sat through the recording. Game lost when Hampshire lost ball and Saints went full length to set up subsequent try. Comeback chance lost when Wood lost ball following tackle from Lomax.
The script had been written well before match day. Wakey stuck to it. Once again, maybe next season?

They weren't booing at Kirmond, I'd be disgusted if I thought that. When he got injured it was clearly his leg as that was what the medics were working on. The cameras then panned in on Chester and he was animatedly hitting his head with his hand clearly indicating that they should say it was a head injury so that he could have the 15 minutes break to see if he'd be OK. Totally understandable from a coach dealing with your injury list, just unfortunate that it was clearly shown on screen.
