Nothing to do with ref tonight, we had a good start squandered by poor kicking.
The only time the ref came into the equation was when we were out on out feet after being poor.
Williams is getting some stick but if he sorts his kicking game out, he will be one of the best halves about.

Yeah we were awful in comparison to our other performances. You only have to look at the number of times we got some pressure on your line and just leathered it out for a twenty metre restart. Try line defense has been good up to this point but a few of those tries by your forwards smashing through the middle were pretty terrible, although there's only so much defending you can do before something cracks.

Doesnt help you reputation that whenever a radio game is at your ground all you can hear is 'Get 'em onside!'

As opposed to the sound of knuckles scraping along the ground and windows being licked on the radio coverage from Headingley.

To be honest I thought the weight of possession and a terrible kicking game, especially in the final third, is what killed Wakefield tonight.

Yeah we stank the place out good and proper for pretty much the full 80 this week rather than just a 20 min spell in the 2nd half like usual.

At least they've figured out the consistency, it's just a shame they chose to be consistently like the 20min and not the 60min of previous games

Neutral here Pat but you just about sum it up for me.
I can see what CC is trying to do but at the moment the moves are telegraphed and executed too slowly. Think if they persevere it will come in time.
The kicks that went straight dead though were unforgivable when it happened so many times.

Agree with what your saying too. our attack is a real concern, especially our last play option. The total under utilisation of Johnstone on the wing, be it by cross field kicks or set moves for me is a cardinal sin, and underlines our inept attacking structure and flair!!!!

I actually wasn't talking about all Wakey fans, but there must be a guy who sits near the commentary box who is constantly begging for penalties and I always find it pretty funny.

It's the away fans next to the commentary box in fairness.

Every team will have an off day it's just with Wakey we get more than usual.
We have a tendency to make our opposition look good and last night was the perfect example.
It will be another up and down season with little or no idea what team will turn up.
Trinity are the most frustrating team to watch and that ain't going to change.
