Cheers Hutchie. Re the Stanningley lads they found the going a little tough at the beginning of the season but have trained hard worked extremely hard on their tackling technique and with confidence high are looking good.

Been over there this season and its fair to say that they are a total embarrassment and disgrace to the sport.
I for one will be pleased if they are demoted after finishing bottom.
They seem to have a cancer running through that club and it needs cutting out quickly.
Although it wouldnt surprise me to see someone use their influence to keep them in the top flight.

It's been dealt with by barla hopefully the family behind it all will get what they deserve,it was pretty bad but at the same time it could have been a lot worse had people reacted to it.

I think the two under 14s barla games could be crackers and much closer than some would predict. Siddal have the size to match east Leeds but I'm not sure they hàve the pace but if its wet they can go close.

Our game with oulton will be tough both teams are on the up and improving list for us a repeat of last weeks first half show will make us hard to beat!!

I personally think in the 14s that only 1 team should drop and 3 should come up . With the same occurring in every division so bottom division 2 slso goes but is joinded by top 3 of 3.
This will give the boys 4 more games plus I can speak from knowing the Cas Panthers and East Leeds that the top 3 division 2 teams will be comfortable even if not top 4 in the leauge.

Panthers 14s earnt themselves a semi final date with west hull after beating oulton Vikings 16-44 in a entertaining game with both teams giving it there all.


I'm pretty sure our boys will need to find a huge effort to beat the humberside champions although I'm certain they will go and give it everything they've got.

I went to watch East Leeds v Sidall this morning - it was 24-10 to East Leeds when we came away with about 5 mins left ( young Sponge was freezing ) .

Well done cas , would of loved to of come but a day in our family calendar means no.

Today's game ran away from Normanton after a good 20 mins but after losing a pivotal player, Stanley then turned on the heat finishing convincing winners at the end of the game.
