I agree with BIGAL, we have to give Kear time to turn things around it was not long ago he was the messiah and could not do anything wrong. I like the bloke, he talks alot of sense when you hear and see him and you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, however i've said this since the start when he first came to the club, Kear can only take teams to a certain level and can not go beyond that, he lost the dressing rrom at Hull and maybe he has reached that level with us...we will have to wait and see.

I saw effort and commitment against Hull. We were the dominant side in the game, in terms of possession and territory. We just lacked the final cutting edge near their line, albeit too often. JD summed it up best, that we were just too edgy, and had it not been for Cooke giving Whiting a big gap to run into, we might well have taken the game. I'm nervous about the Rhinos backlash next week, particularly as it is revenge time for them, but we are still in the mix at the half-way point. We were world-beaters a month ago. Now it's sack the coach. Barmy.

Tactics gave us plenty of field position and sufficient possession to win the game easily. Individual errors resulted in us not taking the opportunity.

I think that's what JK will be telling them at the start of training next week,they played better than they have for a few weeks and there was plenty of positives to take from the game.The forwards were gaining some good yard each drive, getting Trinity into good areas of the pitch where we should of racked the points up.We controlled practically all the possession and to be honest we should have been 20 points up at half time.If the players were playing confidently we should have beat Hull by 30 points and that was using those same tactics that we are all complaining about,all it would of taken is a few kicks and final passes being in the right places.
I think when your in a poor run of form your not going to be playing entertaining rugby,you just have to get back to winning and then the confidence and decent rugby comes off the back of that and I think that is what JK is trying to do.
The team aren't playing with any freedom or expressing themselves and imo that is just down to them feeling the pressure of losing,key players going and their confidence has all but gone.Even with the players we've got once their confidence returns we will be back beating teams and playing some decent stuff again.

As far as I can see he's the only one with any credibility in the boardroom!!!

Who was it who signed Brough????? Seems strange that you want to lay the blame on JK for the sale but no mention of the fact that he signed and developed the best player i have seen in a trin shirt in the last 10 years.
If it wasnt for JK Wakefield would not be and never become again a SL side. He has built success on success to the point where you now have higher expectations - JK is the best coach in SL.

Kear is on the football committee that sanctions comings and goings,so i dont see why its strange.
Brough was good,very good,but in my opinion the best player in the last 10 years was Gareth Ellis.

so when where winning games and playing well its all down to kear and not the players but now we in a word s##t its not kears fault but the players.kear in my view as done a great job but as now come to the end like he did at sheffield and hull where he was sacked.there is not a supporter who doesnt see that we need a proper scrum half on the pitch but kear doesnt seem to think that.correct me if im wrong(wattched the game in london on friday didnt have commetry or after match interviews)but i have been told kear has come out and said that he was happy with our performce,how can he be happy with that yes the effort was there buts thats all we should have scored at least 30 with all the ball in hulls twenty we had but if it wasnt for two great last man tackles by murphy it would a bigger defeat.

this is kears team and there are too many players who aint up to it.yes we have lost three key players but we have brought in players too players that kear wanted (ie cooke what awaste of space).at the moment we are lacking at least one decent centre,scrum half and line breaking back rower out of these positions we have only lost one so we never had the other two.he also shows too much loyalty to certain players jd is way passed

If John comes out and slates the players every week - especially when, by your own admission, they tried, then how would that help with their confidence?

Also, who says John doesn't think we need a SH? We may not have the money for one and we may have tried all sorts of options to get one, but we can't, so we try and make do with the best that we can in the meantime.

We still do bloomin' well with the money available - which is around 2/3 that of most clubs in SL.

There is no 'guaranteed always play well and be in the top 8' in John's contract or in life. We must just work our way out of our current situation - and that's what everyone is focussed on right now.
