I have two of those as well, given to me by Stan Milner, former committee man and later chairman (He was my godfather). One of the players in the opposition team was Gert 'Oupa' Coetzer who must have impressed because shortly after he signed for Trinity!
I also have a complete set of programmes in a bound volume (From the same source)
I bet there's a wealth of material out there in storage!

forgot to say the book of programmes are from the 1952 season - Trinity had a winger then called Dennis Boocker who my dad used to rave about!

| Wouldnt it be a good idea to have a memorabilia day at the club? people could bring their own programmes, flags, shirts, photo's etc etc and share them with everybody else instead of having them stuck in the loft at home..you would still keep the things but show them off so that every Trinity fan could see them. I bet there are some wonderful photo's out there or some very old programmes, newspapers etc that people should see..

| Dreadnowt is the colloquial spelling for Dreadnought e.g. having been corrupted with local dialect or inflection.

| you have to have a name which can be used for a mascot. Would rather have Daddy Cool than Barney Battleship and just think of the costume he would need
dont forget "its for the kiddies"
