Could do with a run out during the week off, 2 games in and we're already dropping out the loop for a week, bit poor that.

Look on the bright side, Catalans could pick up a few injuries at KR this week.

Agree, we need to generally tidy our game up and we've got the players that can put the points on th e board if they're given the right chances.

Although we've been really pinged this season so far & some of them have been head-scratchers imo especially when the opposition does exactly the same thing and it goes unpunished. But anyway we need to get back doing what we did last season, complete the sets and cut the errors out. Maybe a bit of better weather in the South of France will enable us to play a more error/penalty free RL.

Just looking at the errors for other sides & Saints have just one less than us, Wigan one more & Leeds 7 more, it's the penalties that stick out the most with us, Wire and Hudds at 22, saying that all teams have given away quite a few so far, Saints being the best at 13. In a way, it reflects the games I've watched so far, that there's generally been a lot of penalties and errors in the first couple if games.

Catalans had Saints down to 12 men and I thought they only started to look anything like when Saints went down a man. Yes, I know Catalans had a sin bin a bit after but, for about a 1/4 of the game they played a 12 man side and should have made more of that especially at home.
We've got a decent record against Catalans at home the last couple of years beating them both times, so I'd take confidence from that.

Saying that you don't know what you're going to get from Catalans at home these days, it used to be a bit of a fortress for them, not so recently but they have the players to win games.

At some point Catalan will spark into life and when they do they will be a match for anyone especially at home.

I don't think they are top 4 at all but they should be a top 8 side. What we need to be is the team that gets McNamara sacked not the team that saves his career (not personal against McNamara by the way).

Also Catalan have been rich pickings for us recently, the law of averages are also against us a bit.

It's actually quite sad to see a bunch of former superstars stealing a wage; their attitude is dreadful.

Historically, we had a habit of kickstarting other teams' poor seasons or bringing a poor run to an end. There might be just one more week of disarray from them, hopefully, but when it sticks with them, they're a decent side.
