Some people would prefer a big name signing. To me a name means nothing its how they perform when they play for us. I don't follow the NRL that much but I would imagine Rangi Chase was not a big name when cas signed him and look how good he has turned out.

A no name with a lot to prove and the ability to do it will do for me.

He's just pleaded guilty to affray in the incident that cost him his place at Melbourne.

We should have got to him last year but people were put off by his sacking at 4 NRL clubs. I prefer to think about the fact that Craig Bellamy was going to play him at 6, pushing Inglis back to the centres. Also the fact that 4 NRL coaches beleive he is 1st grade material.

Even now there are rumours that a 5th NRL club (Wests) is prepared to take him because of his brilliance as a footballer.

His off field antics will have to be stopped but I beleive a little maturity and the reality of losing his career for good will make that happen.

if you type his name into a well known internet video site you can see him playing. Its only reserve grade/cups but he looks half decent....

Brilliant....reserve grade, fair enough, but sometimes you just know how much class a player has....and he has it.

Arana Temata clearly has that something special though. im sure 4 or 5 NRL clubs were after him - they clearly think he is good enough. and he was involved at melbourne....but he has disciplin issue that would need resolving and i understand he has had run ins with the aussie law....

and considering a parking fine is the reason why we havnt seen gregg eastwood in SL yet i dont rkn Arana Temata's chances of getting a work permit would be that good.
