| Conceded 60 points today for the third time in their last 7 matches, and lost Walker to a "serious" foot injury, so can they re-call Shaul, or is he just in-eligible to play as part of the terms of his loan deal ?? (Fairly sure Bowden is okay to play as he is now on our books ??)

| I'm not sure what Hull's intentions are with Shaul.
He's not out of contract but wasn't getting a place after injury.
If they want to move him on they are better letting him play to attract offers. If the do intend keeping him then they may take him back for Friday.
Bit unfair on him if they do.

| If I was Shaul, and HFC recalled me to play on Friday, I'm sure I'd probably tweak my hamstring getting out of bed on Monday morning.

| Hull FC look like a very wounded side and we should capitalise on that, but it all depends how their players react to another heavy defeat.
Interesting game in prospect.

| I can't see Shaul getting recalled even if we are allowed to.
Its anyones guess what Hull side turn up. We put a shift in against Tolouse and Hudds after an awful performance so with any luck they'll put some effort in, equally they could just fold the minute you put them under a bit of pressure.
Either way on recent form I reckon you've got enough to win.

| I see it like this. Tolouse will beat Catalan and also beat saints as they will be most likely play against the saints under 13's knowing that lot. Wigan will beat them on Friday i am sure. That means we may have to trust Hull to beat them. Dont think we can afford to do that so one more win is a must.

| Shaun was signed by Wakefield to the end of the season so they can’t recall him, not sure about his availability on Friday but he definitely won’t be playing for the hull side.
As it was for remainder of season and hull were keen to ship him on think there’s a reasonable chance he will be playing

| For the first time in ages, we will go into Fridays game as favourites, which will be a whole "new" experience.
If we can back up the Wigan performance, we are certainly capable of picking up another 2 points but, this is Wakefield and we haven't been great at stringing 2 decent games together (not even 1 sometimes), although v Saints and v Cas, we did pretty well in consecutive weeks.
Yesterday will have taken plenty of juice out of the players and Batch was on crutches at the end so, maybe some changes coming for Friday.
We have certainly improved since Shaul came and it would be great to see him run out against his "old" / parent club.
A win will just about put us safe all though nothing is certain so, one game at a time and keep chalking up some W's.

| I want to target 10th after the 2 Hull games.
Warrington aren't going to keep winning. They have quite a hard run in.
Technically 8th is mathematically possible!!

Steady on with 8th PT but, I love your optimism.
Certainly 10th should be a target but, as the old adage goes, one game at a time !

Unless the deal specifically states there’s no recall option, which there is no evidence there is, then the could recall him should they wish to. I doubt they will but i imagine it is possible. I’d be surprised if they let him play against them though this week either way.

Saints may well not rest anybody as the Disciplinary has done a great job for them in that respect so far this nseason.

| Jake Conner will be a massive loss to Hull this Fri , thought the the tide turned when he went off in our last outing against them , when he has his head screwed on he’s a nightmare to defend against with that cutout pass ,Kane Evans also sitting this one out on the naughty boys step .Don’t like the favourite tag at all but one last rousing performance and a Wigan win and it’s two fingers up to the powers that be and hopefully our recruiting begins in earnest .

| Bet365 has Hull FC down as slight favourites. Trinity are getting 2 start …
Still slight underdogs, just how we like it!

Not as daft as it sounds really!
Kruise Leeming said on the SL show Trinity would have beaten any SL side with that performance against Wigan - so we know they CAN play a bit - the key word though is consistency. It depends on how much they want it but they are capable.

| I think right now is a good time to be playing against both Hull sides, and are both there for the taking.
Also, I wouldn’t be surprised, if Saints or Huddersfield rest a few, if their positions are confirmed before we play them. Could we win all 4. That would be some momentum to end the season.
Agreed, it would be nice to start planning next season, regarding signings. Who knows, maybe we already have our eye on some

| Actually just to correct myself, 8th isn't mathematically possible as the 2 Hull teams play each other.
9th will be OK though.

| I'm wondering what the squad will be for this.
With Tanginoa out and possibly Shaul not allowed to play, it hits us in the weakest areas.
If Shaul doesn't play, then Gaskell will have to go back to 1. That leaves a centre free. I assume we'll bring Croft back in and move Hall back to left. That leaves the right weaker again, just through inexperience.
But add Tanginoa to that too and we have a hole at right SR, which hasn't got a natural replacement without Pitts.
So we could put Crowther there, or a young lad in (I'm not sure who is playing there in the reserves or Academy who could step up. But either way we end up with an inexperienced SR and centre on the right.
We could easily end up leaking tries through there again.

Why not Jowitt at Full Back, is he still on the injury list?
