Ok……its been a traumatic few weeks to be a Wakey fan (more than usual), but next week is make or break for so many reasons. Can we start to at least try and get behind the team which hopefully will be more or less back to full strength. Don't know about anyone else but I really want to win this one, plus it just might kick start our fight back for the rest of the season. Regardless of our opinions on Webster its time for the
experienced , professionals in our team to stand up and fight , lets do our bit and get behind them. It sounds like Leigh are bringing well over 1000 and will definitely shout their players on. I also hope there will be segregation for this game…. Come on people lets try and have a good afternoon on TV next Sunday….plus if it does go horribly wrong then Webster will be on his way surely..

One thing I cant see changing in a week is confidence, Leigh are full of it and we seem to have none. I would love to think we will win and be in the hat on Monday and I really hope we do but I have a horrible dealing I will be walking up Donny road after the match feeling disappointed again.

Think our pack will have plenty of confidence that they can out play the Championship side.
It's the backs that need to step back up a peg. Riley to miss out if Owen is fit, although I would prefer Johnstone on the right against Kay.

Well Sir Rich all we can do as fans is support them, you never know if we can start to cheer them on from the start it may just lift them or enough of them to instill a bit of pride/motivation. If it all goes awry then we can all come on here after and have a good moan , I just feel like I don't want to be outnumbered/ supported / cheered etc by the Leigh fans on Tv especially as we are wanting people to back us over Newmarket still . As ever lets get there and see what happens but lets get behind them..at least to start with. I remember losing to Huyton 5.0 (I think ) with our stars N. Fox I. Brooke etc, we had "The pride of Yorkshire banners in the back of the supporters coaches ha ha they were soon ripped down after that game !!!!

We need to be in the hat on Sunday that's when the next round is draw, Its drawn at Wakey after the game. Personally think Webster has lost the dressing room so it's down to the players do they go out play like they have and lose and force the club to get shut of him or do they go out and try and get one step closer to Wembley ? It must every players dream to walk out at Wembley I would have thought. Do we get extra money for a televised game if so it may go towards paying Webster off.

I'm off to watch Wakey beat Leigh hopefully despite what Webster does or does not do, my focus will be on the team and not him, shouting Webbo out won't influence anything on Sunday but getting behind the lads hopefully will.

Leigh have reportedly sold 1,000 tickets and they'll also have some walk up support on the day so we need to be out in force or they'll outnumber and ousing us.

Glad they won't be suspended for the game. We'll beat them with their full side out so they can have no excuse.

Win or lose next Sunday I still think Webster should walk. Whether he has lost the dressing room or not is one thing but it certainly seems he has lost the confidence of the fans. I'm not sure that he'll ever win that back.

To be fair, you should do. Your team will be far more 'fired up' than the game at Hull KR, when your team gave up when more than 2 scores behind. It will send out a message to Leigh, Bradford, Fev etc, that you will be no pushovers in the 'middle 8's'. We play part time sides week in week out (apart from Bradford/London). If you lose this one......oh dear !

You could say they that because of that they are more battle hardened than if they were blowing teams away. On paper we should win the game. On grass i am far from confident.

You're right, we aren't playing that well at the moment. I can see both teams raising their games next week.

Our coach acknowledged tonight, on Radio Manchester, that, despite your poor run, you are more 'battle hardened' to playing at SL intensity, week in, week out. (despite what the more cynical Trinity fans may suggest!

) It will still be a huge ask, for us to win at yours.

Hope Owen,Collis,Kirmond and Lauitiiti are back fit to give Trinity more of a cutting edge against Leigh.

Hall - Not a perfect Full Back but attacks better from the back than anyone else
Johnstone - Play him on the left outside an experienced centre
Collis - if fit he's the only class outside back we've got
Lyne - instruct him to start playing with physicality & impose himself
Owen - better when he's busy throughout, don't let him get detatched from play
Godinet - too good to spend 50% of the game sat down
Smith - just organise and kick well, no need to be a superstar just be functional
Anderson - Best Front Rower we have, 2nd game back should be better
McShane - interchange with Washbrook, not ideal but he needs a rest
Simon - Get the benefit of his impact right from the KO, put Leigh on the baackfoot
Kirmond - Like T Smith, go back to simple, play on the right, run lines
Washbrook - a la Kirmond but on the left, concentrate on partnership with centre
D Smith - 3rd Prop playing in the centre channel,

Miller - Options for Full Back/ Half Back/ Hooker
Ryan - Centre/ Back Row/ Front Row
Scruton - Come into the game looking for impact, high energy
Anakin - same as Scruton

Overall, let's get back to basics, want it more than them on both sides of the ball!

Up and out defence, pushing from the Middle as the ball travels out

Arundel didn't do much wrong on Thurs, so if Collis not fit would keep him in the centres and swap Miller on the bench for Ali.
D.Smith played well early doors starting at prop with Scruton.
Would have Anderson, Simon, Anakin on the bench as three really good go forward forwards.
