Terry Crook, Trinity legend and Radio Leeds Rugby League front man looks forward to seeing you at Carlton Cricket Club as he MC`s the evening. The floor is then yours to ask Richard any rubgy or Wakefield Trinity questions you want.

Richard was destined for a life in Rugby League being the son of Allan Agar who was was part of the famous Challenge Cup winning Fetherstone Rovers team.

Richard played for Featherstone Rovers, Dewsbury and Widnes before moving into coaching. He spent four years as assistant coach at Hull and was appointed head coach in 2008

In September 2011 Richard took up the role of head coach at Trinity and masterminded a play off finish in his first season in charge.`

This event will be a great opportunity for all to ask Richard Agar the questions you want answering : Why no Mariarno, Walshaw or Cowling and yet Moloy and Lyne walk into the team. When will Sykes be back, how come Wood gets a game, Once a player is in our first team what does he have to do to get dropped, whats the matter with Raleigh, any truth in the Anakin for Westwood swap, is there a rugby committee at the club, are we putting pressure on the SL for a return to under 21 / reserve team rugby. What do you think of the new SL proposals, would you select Cockayne for England etc etc etc

Yes it would and after last night at Hull I would be very interested to hear his answers to those extremely good questions.

Carlton Cricket Club is a great hardworking club. If they have taken the time and effort to put on these events, i would say it's a fantastic piece of initiative from a local cricket club to raise their profile.

Went down to Carlton Cricket Club on Saturday, very smart club house, good beer and a great venue to spread the Trinity Wildcats message from. Its located in a WF postcode area but from talking to some of the patrons who were enjoying a few pints on Saturday there is a mixture of Rhinos and Wildcat fans at the club, it is close to Stanley Rangers RLFC and near to Rhino strongholds of Oulton and Rothwell. They have previously put on an evening with Neil Fox and are delighted to welcome Richard Agar on the 22nd May. They have plans to have more `evenings with ` with local sporting stars.

Fear of the questions suggested by bellycouldtackle, maybe?

This could be one of the most important evenings for the club in that week.

I'm going - as much for TC's banter as for RA.

I would like the opportunity to ask about player development and opportunities or lack of for our junior players.

For those asking about one of these being held at BV, if there isn't much support for this event then it doesn't give the ST much ammunition to throw at the club to get one set up!

Anyone think he will spend the evening talking about Wakeys faults and short comings.I think not so you wont get the answers you are looking for Im afraid

I think the cricket club may get more than they bargained for if disgruntled Wakey fans use this as an opportunity vent their spleens!

I haven't seen anything from Richard Agar that suggests Mariano has an attitude problem? The only place this has been suggested so far, I believe, is on this forum? However, i'll happily be proven wrong!

You are right Bren 2. RA's end of 2012 cache is wearing thin. I'm not yet for his head but I think his 'who has stayed and who has gone and who has been brought in' choices are so far, indifferent at best. And we remain an erratic and error prone team on the field, which, for all but the last 9 games of last year and Catalans home this, we have been under his leadership. I am reverting to my previous thoughts..RA is not up to this level of coaching and I think an evening at the cricket club right now could be very uncomfortable

Well they didn't vent spleens or anything else, question got asked and answers given.

Enjoyed hearing Richard speak and picking up a bit of background on him as a player and through is coaching.

Sadly the average age at this event wil have been 50+, hardly any young supporters truned up.

Cracking little club and made to feel very welcome.

Agar interesting - doesnt like tall black haired referees. Terry crook very nice man. Some old men can be scary - especially when they think they know better.i really enjoyed it - very interesting and much better than boots n all.
