On the whole, Bentham refereed well imo.

The better team won today Hull KR showed up for 20minutes. If we had a good halfback creating we would have been 30 up by half time. HKR were in out half once and they scored.

The KR supporters I was talking to blamed Justin Morgan not the ref.

Yeah just look at mariano was great today.We will play the young british lads for them.

Mariano has been the signing of the season. Love the way he plays, the lines he runs are superb.

There have been some bloody awful refereeing displays this season and some coaches have been justifiably hacked off. On this occasion however, Mr Morgan is dead wrong and if he's suggesting that the ref cost them the game, he's embarassing himself and covering up for his players.

What about Chris Dean?

Personally, I think Mariano has been a better signing than Dean. Dean has been excellent, and he has been a very good signing, however, Mariano has added so much to our pack, and he has scored some really impressive tries. His defence is superb, he put at least 2 big hits on Cockayne today, and he also has the fitness to play 80 mins (or near enough).

he was screaming for the ball down the right side when we had them under pressure in their own 20 before he got subbed, unfortunately wakey kept going left. would have liked to have seen him bust over the line and see the lad doing somersaults to the hull kr massive. good turn out today from our east yorkshire pals. well done to them for that but morgan can suck the fat one...

They got away with more than 2 forward passes, also offside a lot of the game. They had a team full of older and more experienced players and should have run us off the park, especially with Dobson back.

I hope he gets fined!!! he's lost the plot if he thought the main the reason they lost was the ref!!!

Some coaches hold their hand up when things go wrong and some coaches need to find excuses.
I think we have found out which camp Morgan is in.

Apart from the knock which led to their last try, I thought the referee had a great game today.

As a Rovers fan just to say congratulations & well done. The winning penalty was a bit of a mystery but I was expecting a drop goal anyway.

BTW we actually had 12 English players in our line up today.

Maybe that's why Newton, Clinton, Mason, Webster & Lovegrove will walk back in the team when they are available.

Thought Bentham was excellent today,about time we got a decent ref instead of Childs,Hicks etc,he let the game flow and as a result both teams responded especially in 2nd half.

To be honest I was right in line and Rinaldi scored the play before, the ball touched the line then was pushed back. Morrison possibly did strip the ball in the lead up to Griffins try but but at least one of the Hull KR tries shouldn't have stood either because of a knock on in the build up. The result was the right one in the end and Morgan should maybe look a little closer to home as to why his team is underperforming.

Morgs is under pressure and was interviewed straight after the match so its no suprize he saw red.
I would stick with Justin,but all in all the better team won.

Yep he is definitely feeling the heat. Did you see him rollicking a few of the players as he walked across the field just before the 2nd half kicked off. There was a lot of finger wagging going on.
