Anyone with sense would get the lease to that really soon, before we get planning & turn it into a pub/sports bar. It would make a fortune, all it needs its the right publicity to market it as "the place to go" for a drink before the game.

Article says permission to be sought from Kirklees Council. That's a mistake, I presume, or have I missed something? I haven't lived in Wakefield for a few years.

The thing is, it wouldn’t. It would help the club who geographically are closest to the ground and who are perceived to be the main tenants where as the others would slowly wither away.

Each club to have there own stadium.

Cas are continent of securing their own stadium and Fev also seem pretty confident too. Hopefully all three clubs will be in new stadia in the near future.
