| Right, I posted this on the bulls board, and have been ridiculed by virtually of all of them.
Here's what I put
Just comparing sides and the players in the posistions mentioned.
In bold the players i'd prefer in my side.
Matt Blaymire -- Halley
Damien Blanch -- Sheriffe
Sean Gleeson -- Sykes
Ryan Atkins -- Crookes
Aaron Murphy --Tadulala
Tony Martin --Menzies
Danny Brough --Jeffries
Oliver Wilkes -- Lynch
Tevita Leo-Latu -- Newton (consistency and due to playing more game time)
Steve Snitch -- Koppy
Dale Ferguson -- Langley Looking a real prospect.
Kevin Henderson -- Cook Cant pick either hendo been poor last few yrs however this year playing much better.
Jason Demetriou -- Burgess
Probably the toughest choice ive had to make, burgess a really talented player with a huge amount of potential / future in this game. Against JD, our captain fantastic tries his heart out every game puts 100% in, has had to overcome real adversity both individually and had to be at the fore-front of the recovery from the Watene and Walker Incidents - so for wakefield (my team) id choose Demetriou, for any other burgess would be my selection.
Brad Drew -- Solomona
Danny Sculthorpe -- Scruton getting some games under his belt, getting his fitness levels up, making many yards and chances.
Jay Pitts -- Worrincy
Kyle Bibb -- Donaldson
Cant comment havent seen much of either of bradfords side, however our young players from our academy arent letting us down and tbf are playing really well.
Any thoughts ?
Am i ridiculously wrong.
Just to clear a few things up, read what I put about burgess and JD again before any trolls have a go.
Oh I also think that steve menzies is a tremendous player in the pack.

| hard to see who've youve picked without the bold key been used
I'd go for all the wakey players based on the fact we are higher in the table.

| Like i said on the Bradford forum, i wouldn't swap any of our players for theirs and that's probably the first time i've said that since we've been in superleague.
We play with passion, enthusiasm and desire. We have a good balance of experienced heads and young players who are prepared to put their body on the line and we have a good leader and coach. We have creative halves and willing backs.
Bradford are capable of beating anyone but so are we

| I dont think you are being ridiculous because it is your opinion. Like I have put on their version of the thread is that even though we are considered an average team we are not doing bad. We're 5th, they are 10th...kind of speaks for itself.

| Opinions on player v player are fine, and good debate.
However, for me, the opposition can be 17-0 up on paper with regards to how good each player is, but the better team ethic will win games at this level.
Which is the reason I go into Monday's game with confidence.

I wouldn't bother posting on their forum, some of their fans seem to think Menzie's could win the superleague on his own!

Some are ridiculously wrong. Especially Menzies and Burgess.
Matt Blaymire -- Halley No, I'd have Halley.
Damien Blanch -- Sheriffe Agreed.
Sean Gleeson -- Sykes Close, but Sykes was filling in at SO so Sykes, he's hit form recently.
Ryan Atkins -- Crookes Atkins, but Crookes looked good last game.
Aaron Murphy -- Tadulala Yeah.
Tony Martin --Menzies No way.
Danny Brough --Jeffries Agreed, but Jeffries is improving and we need him for his try assists as Brough isn't a team player.
Oliver Wilkes -- Lynch Obv.
Tevita Leo-Latu -- Newton (consistency and due to playing more game time) Yeah.
Steve Snitch -- Koppy No, Kopzcak's been on form lately.
Dale Ferguson -- Langley Looking a real prospect. Give me Langers anyday..
Kevin Henderson -- Cook Cant pick either hendo been poor last few yrs however this year playing much better. Cook, been good in past couple.
Jason Demetriou -- Burgess I really have to question this, Burgess has been amazing so far I'd rather have Burgess than two Demetrious.

On paper maybe. Think Burgess has been no where near his best this year. All he does is go for big hit all the time, and the amount of times he turns his back on the ruck (ala Korkidas) is laughable for a world class forward!

Ewwenorfolk - read my comments about JD & Burgess.
JD's influence on our side cant be understated !!!!
Playing wise burgess is obv better, but overall for wakefield trinity ONLY jd for me would be the pick.

It's a close one but I'd go with Langers, he's good for organisation for a forward and he's still quality in defence even if his injuries have limited his attacking game.

That's a ridiculous statement due to the two players ages. I'd say JD has contributed far more to Wakey over the last 2-3 seasons than Burgess has or Bradford though, and the influence that JD brings to the team is absolutely priceless, I wouldn't swap him for anyone at the present time.
