Top nosh cooked well with out the "oh f*ck it throw a load o' chillis in,that'll keep 'em happy" mentality you get with alot of curry houses.

Can't beat well made pork pie served up hot with mushy peas and mint sauce.

Abduls is the only place to go for an Indian

If you like half a strawberry with it & a showy container. Used to go there, they're decent, but have a certain sameyness about them. Ali's has a massive range, always quality (the chef teaches others, must be on to something) & are better value.

Don't know about curries or pork pies but I think there is a billboard advertising the forthcoming game outside The Foresters

Allumns - for pork pies - and you can spot the family down at Belle Vue.


The Wakey Express did a lot of features about Abduls. I have never been but i will have to give it a go.

, Hoffmans do excellent sarnie's and pork pies

I used to make pork pies and very good they were too, good quallity meat and pastry.

I also cooked pork scratchings and made black puddings and polony, pig head brawn, pig bag, roasted pig cheeks.
