Likely to be as you were last time out, apart from Washy in the pack and Collis starting at centre, although wasn't Kirmo injured ?
We still need to give McShane some rest but, who will play 9 if he takes a breather
Should be a hard won 2 points.
Come on Trin !

Washy always plays, Agars first name on the team sheet.
I think its reverse alphabetical order ?

| He really isn't. I'd go with that team. Think we could get the 2 points this week which would keep us well away from the 13th spot.

| Hull KR don't have a lot of points but they have played Leeds, Giants, Wigan, Sts and Cas so far.
They beat Bradford.
So I'd say it will be anything but easy. They are in an unrealistic place on the table.

| Lol but no, he'll be gone next week. I'll still be here.
Their biggest issue is discipline. We need to make sure ours is good so that we can highlight theirs.

You do seem to know a lot about him "poptart"
Tomorrows game has become as important as the London and Catalan games.
A win will indicate that we can start looking up the league ladder, whereas a defeat will keep us looking over our shoulder.
Btw, it looks like we played Catalan at a good time and their "clear the air" meeting after we stuffed them has certainly changed their form and they were a little unlucky not to beat Wigan last night.

| People keep waxing lyrical about how they think this seasons squad is better than last. Well this is a perfect test of that, against a decent side but one that has been struggling. Time to find out how good we are because we need a win from this.

| Bizarre selections for me. I'd have probably shuffled Sykes to fullback and kept the halves as they were. Or put Siejka at 6 instead of him. What's the point signing Siejka as a half if we're gonna put Sykes there instead? Also, not sure Ryan is a second rower. Let's see how it goes. Wonder if Sammut will be a bigger threat chiming in from fullback?

| Got to be an injury to Smith as been playing well. Mathers was poor imo against Saints so maybe dropped. Won't be as dynamic in the halves with Sykes there but hopefully it all works out. This is a game we should be targeting with hull kr struggling for consistency

| I doubt Mathers has been dropped purely because he has had lots of worse games than last week and has always retained his spot!

Agreed, wait until they take to the pitch, numbers and squad lists tend to mean nothing these days.
Mathers isn't playing any worse at the mo than he has for 2 seasons, in fact, he is probably in good form but,
with Godinet, Sammut and Siejka in the squad, one of them has to play FB or Hooker at some point.

I think it's bizarre that you think the selections are bizarre....
Collis back in to play his own position.....
Ryan, who did an excellent job covering Collis reverts to starting 2nd row.....his position....and he's proved he can play long minutes....
Sykes.....missed out last week but gets a place this week....his best position and best performances all last season came at stand off....
Washbrook......a loose forward coming back in to play loose forward....allowing TT who covered that position last week to be spelled as an impact prop.....
Sammut....to full back is the only slight curveball but seems to be a trend quite a few teams are using nowadays.....Hanbury at Widnes....Tomkins when at Wigan....Lomax at Saints.....all started half-backs now play full back.....worth a go IMO.....Mathers may be injured or he may just be sitting one out....worth a try though gives us more options in future....
Daniel Smith has been a revelation this season.....it's a long season and more a squad game than ever before....no problem with him sitting one or two out....
Like the look of the side personally and think it can come away with the two points....

| The reason I said Bizarre is because in my opinion you don't mess with your halfback pairing unless it is unavoidable. It is avoidable. I'd play Sykes at fullback personally and keep Sammut and Godinet together. But if we get the two points then who gives a hoot?!
Peter Smith from YEP just posted: "Wakefield Trinity Wildcats' coaching staff have confirmed Richard Mathers is not injured, but hasn't been selected for today's game at HKR."

| If you ask most coaches what they want, it would be to play the same 17 every week, this promotes stability and continuity.
Meddling and changing does nothing for consistency.
Collis should come in for Keinhorst, apart from that, as we were last week, barring injuries.
