Has anyone heard that Wakefield are interested in signing Luke Gale from Keighley.

We've been signing him and Tubby Milner for the last two years.

One more rumour about a half .The most important position in a team .Should have been sorted at beginning of season big time .Think this shows why we have gone backwards big time this season .Got a friend who supports Keighley and he says he is not impressed by him

Gale is well past his best...perfect signing for us.

Should be signing next week when all the big wigs are back from their holidays and can sort the contract out.

Yes and it’s true. But Keighley have a contract clause that we simply can’t pay.

When others were slagging the idea of Gale signing I was all fit it. Past his best he may be but he has more football brain than the rest of our team combined, even on one leg.

I doubt the club listen to the so called experts on here but if they do then now they know why they shouldn’t.

Gale was always the answer, but now the question has changed and it’s all too late.

All easy to say with hindsight but perhaps it’s now time to drop the cult of youth and muscle and look for those who know what to do. Almost any experienced Championship playmaker is better than what we have now.

,What made Finn look so good was that he had probably the fasties three-quarters line we have had at Wakefield plus Miller who could go 70 yard .Luke Gale as lost is speed ,and and will beplaying with the slowest three-quarters line we have had at Wakefield for years .Think this sums up how desperate our coaches are .Should have been sorted at beginning of season and it makes me ANGRY that the coaches have got every call wrong

Luke Gale hope they have a clause in contract that says they wont pay him when he gets sent off.

only way to make savings on a poor descsion to sign him to coin a phase hes past it

Hope it is not true ,think we have lost the plot big time ,We have had a go with GASKELL ,SMITH ,and if Gale comes that is three players for the most important positions on the park .What have they got in common, none of them are any way good enough for S L and way below Championship quality.We let Hall go to HKR for a full back who i do not think is any better than Kay .Would have been better to swap for Milnes a lot younger ,but as I have said with there decisions these Coaches are making, they do not want young players in there team and shows they have not got a clue about S L Same old Question why did we not keep Hampshire

I was behind the Finn signing at the time (one of few I might say) but that was because he free'd Miller up to do what he does best.

I don't see how Gale and Lino could fit together.

It’s a desperate through of the dice but we are in a desperate position.

Lino is trying to do too much. He isn’t the creative midfield general that the club seemed to think he would be, for me his strength is his running when he takes the line on.

Gale will be the player moving us around the field, he’s an experienced leader and has a high match IQ.

Is it ideal? No, but is he an improvement on what we have, yes.

I wonder if Morgan Smith will be going the other way to Keighley?
