Looking at next year's fixtures we have 13 games on Friday night, 7 at home, 2 on Thursday 1 at home 1 away. I thought are home games were Sundays, these fixtures may make people think twice about getting a season ticket.

Not a fan of Friday night games. Always prefer a Sunday afternoon. Too late if you've already bought a season ticket.

It might just as easily improve it. I don't think there is any evidence to say our Friday fixtures are less supported.

I don't suppose it makes much difference whether the two home Catalan games, are on Friday or Sunday as they won't bring any support but really surprised the two Hull KR games are on Friday nights because it will surely put a lot off travelling on a cold dark March night

Shame the Catalans away match is on a Friday. It would have been a nice mini holiday with Monday 29th May being a Bank Holiday.

Also noticed some of the Friday night games kick off at 7.30 some at 7.45 and some at 8.00. That's going to catch a few people out. Cannot understand why we can't stick to one time.

Think the times are "provisional" and can be changed.....

I don`t think that's strictly true regarding having the freedom to select which day we play our non televised home games, there is a whole raft of things to consider i.e. scheduling from the week before, scheduling the week after for both teams in the fixture, all of which has outside influence.

Equally, I know of a few people that will go to Friday night fixtures but can`t make Sundays, either way, there will always been discontent but if you look at attendances from Friday night and Sunday afternoon I bet they don`t average out a whole lot different.

Well,HV, those of us aren’t particularly keen on night time KOs, could look on the bright side, with the suggestion that electricity rations during the winter months to come, then all sports will be played during daylight hours.

I think those two are sky games which will also affect what is usually a decent away following.

Friday games are a real pain for me due to work. The odd one i can work around but that many is a no-no, especially given there is always the chance that others on a sunday may switch as well. Thankfully the season tickets weren't purchased yet, sadly now they won't be.

Fair point about the extra use of floodlights as well, i'd have thought of all years this was the one to have as many day games as possible given the extra costs involved.

Interestingly it was brought up last Monday evening and Mr Carter replied by saying that last season the Friday night games were more popular than any others and would be looking into the fixtures when he received the full list.

I read that Hull KR have done away with all Sunday home games next season in favour of Friday nights.

I'm sure that will affect attendances for teams at the other end of the M62

If most teams play on Friday nigh, then that will affect Sky viewing figures, I’m sure IMG will have a different opinion to everyone playing Friday. We all know the horror stories of traversing the M62 on Friday nights, probably the main reason why away fans don’t travel, I’m sure that was one of the things picked up from the IMG fans survey.

Prefer night games myself.

I've not been further into Lancashire than Salford on a Sunday game for years and can't see it changing soon .

Used to be I’d enjoy my weekend before it got spoilt late in the day Sunday haha. Now it can spoil my full weekend!

Joking aside, I don’t really mind Friday night or Sunday to be honest. With the new floodlights and pitch it should look cracking.

I do enjoy a Sunday afternoon game but it's terrible if you're wanting a beer and have work the day after.

Cas have only 1 home Sunday game and a total of 17 Friday night games, home and away. It seems to have gone full circle.

Disappointing as a few of our group can't make Fri night games, but all can make Sunday afternoon games.

I am preferring the weekday evening games these days as do work mates I manage to drag along with me. Having a full weekend free is more useful for family gatherings.

It's a tough one isn't it, not that the RFL care but every single fan has their own commitments.
