Chester is a poor coach who has taken the team as far as he can. Miller isn't captain material, Brough isn't vice captain material. Far too many hangers on who think they are better than they actually are. Far too many players believed their own hype.

I'd hope that this would be a reality check for them, but as its happened several times already, I can't see it making a difference.

They all need to go and give their heads a shake and decide if they actually want a future playing rugby

For me the writing was on the wall in this game early doors when we had set after set on Leeds line and come away empty handed , and that set the scene for the evening , descent defence but clueless in attack

There's no direction, from either on or off the pitch. The players look disinterested, slow to respond, and no communication.

Put it this way, tonight's performance made the performance against Hull KR look truly gallant.

No penetration from slow immobile forwards; too much one man rugby; miller very poor indeed; Terrible set completion rate; Croft too inexperienced just now. Broughie tried to marshal the side, but failed One decent break with a man in support and we end up conceding an eighty yard try.
Typical!! every time a poor team ends a bad run it's against us. On paper the depleted side we put out today should still have been strong enough to beat a poor Leeds side.
Ah well!! back to the drawing board..............Again!!!!

I think we are safe from relegation luckily and I know the conditions today were dreadful but this does not explain our current dip in form. I believe we have lost the ability to offload in the tackle and without our number 8 no forward who can break the tackle or a player with the necessary skill to break open a defence.
I get the kick from Brough for the second row to dive onto but unfortunately so does every opposition.

Have now conceded 8 puts to the bottom three.

Players looked clueless and Chester has now had 4 games to try and turn things round.

For me Jowitt, when back is our best full back and also ball passer. Hampshire gives us the pace at half back that we are missing recently.

Miller and Brough don't work as both are ball passers these days.

Forwards seem to have lost their grunt and we are massively over reliant on Fifita.

Chester could have done with Pauli Pauli tonight but with hindsight letting him go to Salford has backfired in this game.

If we lose next week questions will begin to be asked about both the coach and this team.

I am really disappointed to have watched that performance tonight.

Take away the 6 points that fifita has won for us this season and that puts us in our true position in the table.

If we put a Wakey shirt on Blake Austin, Chester would have him running the same lines as Miller within three games.

When any coach does not recognize the serious position of things, that's when they usually walk, what ever, how ever time is up, especially when he can not see it ! These are dangerous times now ?

That was dreadful tonight. Concerning performance.

I’m concerned he thinks that was a good performance! Chezzy mate open your eyes, we were playing an awful Leeds team and they just nilled us. We still wouldn’t have scored now. That was far from good.

Think its unfair to put all blame on chester players and seasonsed pros for that are letting us down at the moment.it is a little concerning on hearing the aftermatch press thst he thought we played well though.amd injury bad again with both ashurst n batch not looking good.think he needs to swallow some pride and bring pauli back

Wakefield now look like a side that is utterly uncoached. The first 10 min were good with repeat sets forced but after that abysmal. Brough does what he pleases, he was the player brought in to win tight games but it's the same story so close but so far. Miller hospital balls to ashurst too predictable, needs to take the line on. Why is pauli at Salford when England is in the team beggars belief. Fifita was out but is now the new Ali lauititi, chuck him it and hope for the best, is that the best this coaching team can muster? Don't buy blaming injuries cause there's enough talent playing. I wouldn't say Chester out because there's nobody better out there in budget. But 84 conceded against London and nilled by Leeds questions have to be asked. We need to get back to running hard, tackling hard kicking well and controlling the ball, then hopefully the rest will come good.
