Box. Jeffries and Wallhead want a trust that they can control, they want Walker in charge. They want a trust that asks no questions and means that Walker can do what he wants on behalf of the council. Look at the way the coldstore was allowed to be built at Newmarket, that was Walker and the council.The trust at the time, chaired by Walker never questioned it. The Trust now questions everything, Walker stormed off in a hissy fit. Box then says that Yorkcourt and 88m refuse to work with the existing trust so new trust has to be formed, Box hand picks and appoints the new trust members. Let me guess Hincliffe and Walker will be two of the councils mates to be on new board. All Box. Jeffries and Wallhead want is for Yorkcourt and 88M to get what they want, they dont care a jot about the club, the community or any of us. As I have said many times BV is a joke project, it will not work. We also know that Yorcort are not going to build a community stadium at Newmarket, they want to build houses and make like bandits, Box and his cronies want this to happen as they want the club to wither and die. Timmins was the financial director of the club that took the club to it's knees. Defo not to be trusted in it upto his neck with his mate,Walker & Richardson.

Spot on! Be a step back to the dark ages with any of that trio worming their way back into having anything to do with club. Maybe they are lifelong fans of the club, but deffo put their own interests before that of the clubs.

When the trust was originally formed everyone concerned were more than happy that it would be capable of performing its tasks and duties. The bloater that chaired it must have also been happy for a while. However when the other members of the trust found out what he was up to and what his true intentions were, he was given the boot.

The trust elected a new chairman and the remaining trust board were still as competent and as capable as before. However just because the bloater is no longer pulling the strings, the council decide the trust is no longer fit for purpose.
The trust even offered to increase its director base and invite council representatives and other capable people to join.

Box did not want this, he is afraid of honest people who have the integrity to deliver what the people of Wakefield were promised. Box needs people he can manipulate, that's why he needs Walker.

So the present trust is no longer fit for purpose (the purpose of box)The process of selecting new directors seems to have started already. The only possible people that can be doing the selection process is either Box or Walker, or the pair of them together. I can assure you that everyone who joins will do and vote in exactly the way they are told.

If there is any club supporter out there who can't see whats going on here they need to really give their head a good shake.

belly - I spoke to David Hinchliffe earlier this week when we got wind of this new trust WMDC were planning to set-up. He hasn't been invited and he is personally disgusted and outraged at Peter Box & the councils actions. If they did now invite him, I highly doubt he would resign from the Trust and join them, given our conversation.

I don't think anyone could question David Hinchliffe's support of Wakefield Trinity.

What a mess, good luck to those who are involved in seeing us right.

I've met Eric a few times and I assume he was trusted to be on the current Trust, so I assume not all bad. I know that he is a fan of the club and attends games home and away, and was a club director when the whole Newmarket thing started. I'd like to think he'd act in the clubs best interests as a fan. CB and MC might have their own views as to how well he runs a club, and at least Rodney isn't currently involved, but that doesn't mean he'd act against the interests of the club.

If we work on the assumption that Box does not want to deal with the club owners directly, Eric might be a good choice, if it's a way of getting the job done. I can't imagine he'd act against the best interests of the club.

Perhaps I'm being too charitable, but if this is the best way of achieving what is hoped to be achieved, fine. If, however, it's the beginning of a route to herald the return of Rodney, then we know it stinks.

Let's see what happens and then judge. I can't imagine Eric would want to be involved with something that would ultimately cause the club to end up being booted out of Super League. Those more closely involved might be more cynical than me, I accept that.

Slugger the question is why does Box not want to deal with the club owners ? the answer is that the club owners want Box to delivery a stadium, as promised fit for the Community whist Box wants to destroy the club, keep Yorkcort, 88m and Walker happy and rich. There is no deal to do whilst ever Box is around or when BV is the amswer

Unfortunately, we'll only find out at the end of everything. Thinking pragmatically, if Box and Co don't intend to deliver a stadium, one will not be delivered, regardless of who is on the Trust. If, however, Box wants to deal with different people because he wants to avoid blame for the delay, by saying that it was the attitude of the original Trust that was the stumbling block, but a stadium follows, I can live with that. Let him have his day on the winners podium.

The issue is whether any new Trust delivers a stadium on terms acceptable to the club. If not, then it stinks. If so, fine. It's the desired outcome that matters, not how it is achieved.

The fact that Eric was on the Trust until last week, and is a fan of the club, just makes me think it might be okay, and that this is Box's way of saving face when the new Trust achieves the deal.

If the end result is nothing, it was always going to be nothing, and we've lost nothing, but I cant see Eric wanting to be part of that.
