| Tough set of fixtures coming up now - I know we have the ability and mentality to get some good results but gonna be a tough ask to mine many points from this lot...
Wigan (a)
Salford (a)
Leeds (h)
Hull (a)
Wire (h)
Cas (h)
Widnes (a)
Saints (h)
They will all be tough games, but if we can beat Leeds, Wire and Saints at home, then we only need say Widnes away and our usual 2 points from the KC and we could be looking at top 4!

| Without getting giddy you would say there's prob 3 wins max there, which should be enough to secure a top
8 place again this season.
This team do have great ability and team spirit though so who knows?
A win at Wigan Monday and you never know ...

| All the games now are against remainder of the current top 8.
It's all in our own hands, as every game is a kind of 4-pointer.

| Look at it the other way around
Other than Leeds and Cas away , they should have been the only losses this season.
Wire we blew ourselves.
the others were so close and other factors tipped the balance.
So all in all you can say only two genuine defeats, we could have been top!!!!

And on the flip side a different bounce if the ball and we could have lost to Salford, Hudds last night, Leigh & Saints. All 4 point wins or less so we could have been facing a bottom 4 battle! Its all if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle, i think where we are is pretty much much right. It's that close this this year, the top teams aren't as dominant and most of the sides below competitive. I'd expect us to get a top 6 finish from here but i wouldn't put the house on it being two or three places either way!

I totally agree Dave, the so called experts have been waiting for the bubble to burst all season, I wonder why it hasn't yet? Could it be that Wakefield Trinity are a really good team? Absolutely loving it and I totally agree with what Chris Chester said last week, we are looking up not down, and why not, we have nothing to fear from anybody. It's a tough ask week in week out we all know that, but it's the same for everybody else. We have a good squad now boosted with the addition of Walker, that should help too as the season progresses. Bring on Wigan!

| Well if you look at our fixtures you could double them up because it looks like all bar Widnes will be top 8 so the fighting for points starts now

| Looking where we are now we've got most of our squad for, touch wood and those who have stepped in to fill big gaps this year and have worked out. Win today and it gives us a great platform to look for 4 more wins and possibly top four at the split. After that who knows but we can hold our own against most sides and I'd like to think we'll keep progressing and give Cas a game in July.
My cynical mindset had us for bottom four but comfortably staying up at the start of the year but we've really kicked on. There's been winners and losers squad wise - really didn't see Grix being potential player of the year and Max Jowitt out in the cold, improvements to the squad will see some previous good performers go at the end of the year but we can't be sentimental about it if we are going to keep moving on. Then crowds just need to come back and who knows where we can end up

| For us to finish in the top 8 would be a fantastic achievement for the board, the coaches and players. Its looking very good for a top 8 finish. Every professional pundit tipped us for the bottom 4 , most fans from all clubs including Trinity fans tipped us for bottom 4, I tipped us for bottom 2. Looking at my pre season tips Wakey and Warringtom are the teams that I got very wrong and Leigh have not done as well as I thought. If coach of the season was chosen now Chester should win it, Powell would get many votes but Cas at the top is not a surprise.
I think that the players mindset may be different this season, last year it was a massive relief to make the 8 and we just switched off plus injuries played a part. This season once and if the top 8 finish is certain then I think the players will want to kick on and get better. I also think that with the strength in depth we can handle a cup run and injuries better.
I also think that we can get better this season so any result is possible. Great times

I'd go with that. We'll win games we can only dream of winning and blow the 'easier' games. This is Wakefield after all!

That is usually the case but you could argue the only game we have 'blown' this season was Hudds away, and even then it hasn't been a happy hunting ground over the last 10 years has it?
I think this team are pretty special TBH.

I was meaning with regards to game's we genuinely expect to win. Warrington away isn't a game we would
usually expect to win.
We blew it in the sense of threw it away but not in the sense of lost when we expected to win.
If you get me?

No Belly that was just you, I'm not having you weadle your way out of it that easy.
You were the one who didn't have the guts to back your own team and had a Cas love in instead, most of the rest of us were quite optimistic and didn't get the negativity.
Pathetic effort Mr Belly. What it does highlight is what a poor judge of players you are

Whenever we've had a half decent team it has actually been very usual - winning at KC has been fairly regular for us, no idea why but it has.

I don't think the 2013 score is right
The 20 all draw was at your ground, you won that year at the KC so your record isn't bad, although still not won there last two seasons, weirdly I reckon our record at your ground is excellent
