Walshaws certainly put some size on this year.

18-18 is a good result against what looked like a stronger than normal Boxing Day Leeds team.

How did the young lads play?

I wouldn't call it a fantastic result, sounds like a lucky draw to me.

After all the doubts about us and a few players being slated and with the team we fielded against a pretty strong Leeds team it is a great result, especially when we have 3 players coming over later on.

Don't forget that Leeds had more players out than we had.

Lets not forget that the players fielded against us had more SL experience than majority of our young uns.
Its our first pre-season game and if we build on that we should be okay next season...

They also played inexperienced youngsters, there was only Sutcliffe that has had experience. Overall we had more experienced players and in the end just managed to scrape a draw. Not really impressive.

We had alot of our starting line up out, so did they. No point looking to much into it,but still a positive sign for the season hopefully

And so did we .get real it's a good result a good bit of confidance for us lets not forget two month ago we didn't have a team

I said it was a good result not "fantastic" and it was a good result especially when you add the context of previous Boxing Day results aanst weaker Leeds line ups, the turmoil we've been in and the fact that quite a few of our players have only just met each other.
