probiz are making the cas v wakey the first probiz legends day and their V.I.P guest is former cas star and wakefield coach adrian vowles who they will be flying over from australia for the game.

I wonder where they got that idea from..?

The thing I miss most about Vowles is him posting on the forum!

faisal has been on casforum asking for ideas to help improve gates and this was mentioned,he asked which former legends the fans would like to see and the fans wanted vowles and tawera nikau,i really hope they can get nikau over for the warrington game the word legend isnt good enough for him.

he`s also keen to set up a centre of excellence in castleford for junior players from all over the country and he`s looking into the legality of that with the rfl and he`s also trying to get a super league game played in the U.A.E something which i thinks saracens.ru did and made a tidy sum of money from.

this guys ambitious to say the least but he appears to be a man who`s true to his word and when he gets an idea he follows it through.

But is there going to be a legend involved at some point?

Don't think they understand the concept of a legend, Wakefield bring people like Harold Poynton and Neil Fox, true legends

Some good players on that list but a couple of them stand out like sore thumbs an Vowles is one of them.

The guy fully deserved the award in 1999 in the face of stiff competition. That year he was also LF for the Super League Dream Team, beating off Andrew Farrell and Paul Sculthorpe. He was also a great ambassador for the club as well as an inspirational captain for us.

He possibly didn't have the greatest of times at Leeds or Wakey, but he's a legend in the truest sense of the word at Cas.

You could, at a push make a decent team out of that lot.

Neil Fox is a true legend of the game, Harold Poynton is more of a legend just at Wakefield imo.
