I understand JK has to support his players after yesterday's performance, but his comments on Skytext about he saw "signs of improvement" ? TBH i have not seen any improvement since i went to Wrexham in June, our forwards looked out on their feet after 10-15 yesterday and could not get on side, most of our players could not tackle a Donner Kebab at the mo, maybe we should be looking at our conditioner and training technique's, to say we had a week off last week we don't seemed to have used it to our advantage and to say there were "signs of improvement" is to say some what misguided or diluded, or Maybe JK didn't expect Wakefield to win the game yeasterday, can't see there been massive queue's at BV for next years season tickets can you, when we have not even released any news on new players coming in, in my personnal opinion Wakey fans are sick to death of turning up, week in week out and ploughing their hard earned cash into a Club who are stuck in the 20th Century, at the moment it is been run as a family concern not a business....

Yep...pretty much agree with you. Having been a season ticket holder since 1986 I can honestly say that I wont be renewing mine for next season and will be picking and choosing which games to attend.

The fact that we haven't been active in the transfer market so to speak is a real concern. Salford have now signed 6 new players, Cas have 3 and yet we announce that only Jesse Joe is on his way. We know Latu is on his way and no doubt there will be many more but we have no word of any quality coming in our direction.

Maybe if we receive the news we are all hoping for in September then things may change and the better players could be attracted to our club but until then we look in deep $hit.

I will be doing the same, picking and choosing my matches rather than spend nearly £400 on a family pass again. Was thinking of getting the Silver membership, but can get a ticket in Conny club for a tenner for every game, and maybe i'll even spend £80 and get a season pass for the Rams, i will renew my WISCA membership, as the weekends away to London and Crusaders were great. I only hope we move forward with the Newmarket project, if not it's bad to the bad old days, while SL goes from strength to strength.....

Tell me about it, i'm sick of watching that crap on display too, but truth is i've been doing it years and no doubt i'll still be doing it in 60 years time (if I get to that age range.)

If you are a Rams supporter then I would say you do right, but if you are a Wakey fan then by doing that you are denying the club of revenue by getting a ticket for a tenner in the con club, the one crumb of comfort that it will leave you with is that when the club cannot compete for the better players because of lack of funds it will give you something to moan about while watching the Rams play, btw I hope its stays fine for you.

Having mellowed a bit over the last couple of weeks (but God knows why). I will probably sign up again for next year, but I'm keeping my brass in my pocket for the moment until I see some photos in the Wakey Express of decent players signing contracts.

That's pretty much where I am; the total silence from the club around new signings is deafening, so I'm hanging on to my brass until they start spending some of theirs.

I'll be doing the same as I always do - turning up for a couple of fortnights a season, buying loads of t-shirts and a replica shirt in the shop (if it makes me look more handsome - hard to achieve, I admit), going to the Catalans away game with some mates from work, if the fixture is kind, and hoping against hope that my team will do well. Simple stuff, but I don't ask for much in life, except a smile and a beer.

I would buy the Gold season ticket, but I want to see what I'm going to be watching before I do.

There again we could sign top line players and lose them all halfway through next season.

That's the thing, isn't it? You could sign the best players in the world, they could be crocked after a couple of games, and then what? Season ticket holders baying for blood... complaints about cheap offers to get the fans in because you can only field a reserve team... It's all a gamble ateotd. You either want your team to do well, and support them, or you don't really give a monkey's one way or the other and turn up when you fancy. Simple choices.

it will be interesting to see our season ticket numbers when we do renew at the end of september, we had no. 380/381 this season it doesn't make good reading around £66k at this stage last year,

how do you entice players to come to Belle Vue, play in front of a poor crowd with no atmosphere, it takes money of which we don't have,

so if it means that my club that I've supported all my life is offering me a good priced season ticket then I will get one, as I'm a true tight and wouldn't want to pay the £18/£20 on the day if I hadn't got one,

If I had gone to that match not knowing what had happened in the previous ten Wakey matches, I would have just thought that we tried to be creative, but were beaten by a very capable team and would have had no complaints. On that basis, I have no complaints.
