Also also, any bright ideas for getting the forms / message out there are very welcome, but what is more welcome is the offer of assistance, as there are only 5 of us and 5,000 of you lot!

Could the club give them out at the turnstiles, and have abox by the exits to leave them in when people leave - in which case nobody would have to give them out and everyone at the gane would get one - sorted!

It don't work. Tried it - failed. The turnstile operators have enough to do and the paperwork gets ignored.

You can count on me and r young un before the game on saturday TRB. I've also made a start at work and got 36 signatures already.

I've printed mine off and will be taking it to the disabled supporters association on Saturday. Every bit helps.

We have no funds at all!

That's not to say we can't access them, but we'd prefer to hand them out through 'connections', i.e. using peoples contacts etc.

The programme effect doesn't get enough people - many of them get the programme's free with their meals etc, so we'll be covering the boxes etc as well.

Question TRB: As I have to fill out the 'form completed and verified by' bit at the bottom do I also put my name in one of the 10 signature boxes or does the verified bit get included in the count?

Good question.

Best bet - sign another form that someone else is verifying - then we keep 10 per form but don't miss out on the 'collectors'!

dropped off some at the warriors sports behind the elephant and castle and will call back and pick them up in a few weeks, they mainly make cricket bats but also supply quality rugby gear as well, Ian Simpson coaches down at stanley and I hope he will help back it as the teams at stanley could get a preference to the use of the facilities

is there a minimum age to this? does it have to be voting age for example to get clout?

Online and Interactive marketing is the one of the cheapest and most effective ways of getting a response, so the numerous wildcat groups on facebook whether it be from the club or fan appreciation pages for example have to be used, and an online site where you input your name and get a signature towards a cause has to be used.

So every email address the club has, needs to be sent a message with this form urging them to get signatures and send them back to the club.

Manpower at the game is a must too.

How about wakefield go into the town centre to "market" the playoffs game get dolls/kittens down there dancing and get the people grabbing individuals from centre of town signing these also.

At the dolls / rugby camps get each of the parents signatures on it, may only be 20/30 but they all count.
Academy games should be able to get arond everyone in the ground.

Tell all of the staff involved in the club to go home and get 10-15 signatures.

Won't be online - too much chance of there being 'false' names and addresses. We need this to be a verifiable exercise - so written forms will be the way this time.

We have stayed away from petitions for nearly 5 years - but now is the right time for us to submit one - and hopefully one will be enough!

Could we get this form over to the Hull KR fans and get them to fill some in and bring on Sat?

It might also be a good idea to post a link on all the other clubs pages.

After all it will be the whole rugby league community who will benefit from Wakefield having a new stadium. No more standing in the rain for our away friends!!!

Ive got some friends who are Hull KR fans and ive given them some copies to sign, they have kindly taken them to their club shop too

cos i could fill a page full here in York, i know its a Rhino hot bed here but there is a lot of admirers of the mighty Trin because of the season we have had on and off the field and would like us to do well

We will take them from anywhere - but we will make it clear how many are from the area and how many from elsewhere, in order to prevent people picking holes in the job!

Got a fair few sheets of petitions filled in at work today, do we hand them in at the club shop? is there a deadline to get them in by? lots a support not just from Trinity fans but people who would love to see better sports facilities in Wakefield and people wanting petitions for family and friends to sign, we should easily reach our target and more.
