Time will tell but my moneys on him having left the club for whatever reason.

I have heard he has a knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season.

Thing is it's not actually the story at all.

It would appear that every man and his dog know that Petersen has left seems little point in keeping up the pretence.

What concerns me is if Wakefield are still paying him as some suggest they are.

It seems completely pointless to release a specialist winger and to still be paying for the privilege of him not being available for selection.

Indeed many questions that need answering or just clarification on the situation regarding Petersen. I can understand why the Club may want to keep it quiet but as a significant number of people seem to know anyway keeping it quiet is hardly working.

It's best for all parties if he leaves, I say. I don't dislike him and I think he's shown that he's willing to play, but he's injury prone, and cops a lot of flak for receiving no service whatsoever. An expensive (I imagine) luxury that we're not using whether he plays or not.

depends on the terms of his departure. we may have agreed to pay him up this season if he waives next years cash? or maybe a variant of this theme?

He's got another club, so I reckon hes left by mutual dissent paid up till end of this yr (or to when his new contract starts) then he'll be getting his money from his other club come nov.

To be honest I thought he was getting better in our last 3 games. His tackling wasn't bad at all and he had a centre next to him who can't pass a ball. Yes hes been a flop but there were a few things you could sympathise with him over. We still could do with him.
