He smacked Wilkes. He has been sent to coventry by the rest of the squad. No one will even talk to him until he has apologised to the squad. He is yet to apologise. The reason they want an apology is that it was a cheap shot he got him with.

Moore has certainly recovered wel from Crohn's disease - fair play to the guy.

Before illness he was a star player for us.
Given that we are likely to let Sculthorpe go and possibly Bibb if forum gossip is correct, why would we let him go as well.

Given the off season to bulk up again he could be right back where he was, which was fringe England team level.

That's all assuming he fits back in with team mates after handbags with Wilkes

If, as has been suggested on here, Moore has been given the cold shoulder by the rest of the squad, then it may not come down to ability but team cohesion.

Moore ,IMO, has more to offer as a player but can be volatile, something I thought he had eradiated from his personality. Wilkes is a hard worker and will not upset the applecart.

Based on the fact that Moore has an off load which we really need now Sculthorpe has gone and that Wilkes tends to off load it forward to often I would say Moore. However if no one is speaking to Moore then Wilkes would have to stay to keep the peace.

What they need is a good ol fashioned "Mad Monday" with guest speakers Bobby Goulding and Lee Crooks.
Then everybody will end up punching each others lights out and all will be forgotton.

I think they've both been as bad as each other in the past! Wilkes was a bit of a nutter wasnt he?

I hope they can sit down and patch things up, we need them both on the pitch.

To be honest my knowledge of him prior to his arrival at Belle Vue is minimal but in his time here he has not struck me as someone who would lose their head.

I might be thinking of someone else but i seem to remember him getting sent off a lot playing for Keithley.
