I normally sit at the computer buzzing through the results doing the predictions, just trying to keep this forum all joined in with the fun,
last night I have never felt so low, and for one of our players that I haven't met and just seen him once in action.
Deeply sad by his tragic loss I just don't think its right to post this weeks predictions.
I'm a very emotional person and I'm even welling up as I am typing this,
I have ask me friend Chris for advice and I'm sure he will back me up, I think we should start the predictions after this week games, after we have all paid respects to his family in the minutes silence on friday night against St Helens.

Its hard isn't it because life goes on, but I think people have been deeply affected by this. I know I have as at times like this, rugby league is a family, but I cannot even imagine what you guys are going through.

I agree. Some things are more important in life. I predict with certainty that we'll all come together in numbers on Friday to show our respects to Leon and give our team support in these awful times.

im hoping that the boys of wakefiled play 110% for leon and even better come away with a win.

If I may say something as an outsider,I felt just like you when I heard the news.The loss of a loved one is always hard to bear,and when things like this happen,you can`t help but sympathise.My thoughts are with all concerned.

No need to apologise, snowie. Your actions are completely understandable. Any person who is brave enough to publicly show such emotion is definately big-hearted in my opinion.

Strange but the result on Friday probably mean less to me then any other match I can remember.

Tragic occasions like this make winning and losing a rugby match seem almost trivial.

The players merely showing up and wearing the Wakey jersey with pride will be enough for me.

Agreed, i could not care less about the game or the result on friday but if its what the familly want and the players are ok then i will go and pay my respects and support the players.

actually glad its saints, and hope they send the top 17 and go for it,as only they can. The club and leons memory deserve it, perhaps a great game would be the most fitting tribute.

not going to be a normal game though cos frankly i dont give a damn about the points or the league just now.

I'm obviously not a Wakey fan, but if I were I'd be proud to support the club. You guys have been through a hell of a lot in the past 12months and I am not alone when I say I admire your strength, courage and sheer determination.

Your club makes it a privilege to support RL. I sincerely hope that Wakefield bounce back and dedicate the season to the memories of Leon Walker and Adam Watene.

Well put mate, I respect your decision 200%. Don't think i'll care less about ours or any other result this weekend. If the two teams do take to the field on Friday i'm sure the Whole rugby league family will be there, stood shoulder to shoulder supporting them.

I totaly agree with you Al, when another young life is taken everything else seems insignificant. And Snowie we are all with you on this

I think most would agree that the results of our game and all others this weekend are the least important thing we should be worrying about.
