Any news or rumors yet ?? For as great as the boys did against Wigan we cant expect that sort of performance every week can we ?? We certainly lack experience in the pack... It may be a bit ambitious but i have heard a certain Frank Pritchard being mentioned as a possible target... I heard it was an aussie but he is NRL based and also believe the player didnt appear in the World Cup and the club did say our potential signing did miss the event ?? Any news out there ?? ...

He sounds like a big unit who had potential but never kicked on in the NRL. Although the coaching staff would’ve no doubt done their homework on him he is probably a calculated gamble as to whether he makes it or not. His size should at least give the pack some sort of impact and his offloading ability may create some gaps in tight matches. .

Watched a pre season replay of Dogs vs Parramatta last night (first grade!!) where Winterstein played most of the second half as a sub..


looks steady enough, did not look out of place, a big kid with a left foot step... tended to lope around the field between plays which made him look dissinterested... however he didnt miss a tackle nor did he make a mistake.

Seemed to have the raw materiel to make a player...


If he is half as good as Adam Watene or Jason Demetriou, neither of whom played any decent level of football in Australia, then I will be delighted with him.

With moore out for the season have we heard any more news on new signings we may need another prop now.

He's hoping to be here within a month however we all know how long the visa applications are taking at the minute. He's chomping at the bit to get over but its just red tape thats stopping him.
