Cas seems to get all the fall out from bad weather

It was wild last night in and around Wakefield.

Just thinking out loud here, but, with the extensive damage to the Princes street stand which I can't imagine will be quick to fix, will their capacity be limited? So could our game against them be all ticket?

I guess the council's safety officer better get out their ASAP to assess the damage and cordon off any potentially dangerous areas.

He might run out of tape before he gets to the ground, if he has to cordon off potentially dangerous areas in Cas!

I heard peter box was round there already laying bricks to build a new wall, or did I hear that wrong about the bricks ??

Peter Box will be knocking down listed buildings in Wakefield to get Material to re build Wheldon road or trying to to use the new market house.

If I were a Cas fan, I'd nip down quick sharp like and grab the brick Id paid for 5 years ago.

I know there wasn't much sympathy from the Cas fans to us last yr when the stadium was given a reduction in capacity but I do feel for their problems, maybe they can get off their fans to go brick it back up for them

Just remember the crap thrown at us in the past twelve months, 95% of Cas fans don't have any sympathy for us, the same here, welcome to our world!

No need to panic.The wall will be re-built for the season opener next month and the PS stand will be open as usual for the thousands of WTW fans attending the game.

Not withstanding the factitious tone of the post, I think 1-2 thousand isn't an unreasonable figure to assume will attend the opener.

Hope so KK. I would expect the game to attract 10,000 plus.

Cas ground is a bit of a mess really isn't it!

We had the sparks and electrical fire during our game there a few years back, the place floods everytime theres heavy rain and nor bits of it are blowing away in the wind.

Haven't been to Cas ground recently but can anyone tell me if the car seat stand is still made of wood? And have they actually put toilets in instead of using walls and troughs?

Not many Cas games in there SL history have been 10k plus and certainly not against us - you're ability as Cas fans to get over excited is both touching and cringe worthy at the same time and thus your deeds never match your words.

I suppose it's possible but I suggest you keep your powder dry for now.
