| In view of our current injuries what is likely to be our line-up in Edinburgh, will Jamie Rooney come straight back in? A distinct possibility, as JK said he will be available for selection. I can see us going with something like:-
Blaymire
Gleeson
Martin
Atkins
Grix
Rooney
Brough
Wilkes
Drew
Snitch
Pitts
Ferguson
Demetriou
Sculthorpe
Moore
Henderson
Obst/Latu.
If Rooney doesn`t play it could mean Drew at 6 with Obst/Latu alternating at 9. Any other ideas?

| I'd like to see George play if he isn't injured. We need a big winger to compensate for Bradford's bombs out wide to Menzies

Kyle Bibb has to play for me. We missed him this week - he does a very simple but effective job for us.
Pitts to rest this week for me!
Also - If sam is fit, Brough to play SO and sam to SH.

I'd have Bibb back for Scully, at a time when there is competition for places and every player needs to take his chance when given Scully didn't seem to appreciate that fact on Sunday and gave us nothing IMO, and Bibb didn't do anything bad enough to warrant losing his place, it was a gamble by JK that didn't come off and we can't afford to carry anyone against Bradford so let's go back to what worked when we were winning, also I'd prefer to see players in that figure in future plans.
Will be interesting to see how many playmakers we actually have at the club by the week end as well, but as things stand I'd have Obst at stand off and Drew/Latu at hooker, Rooney didn't give us much direction when he was playing regularly, it would be a massive step up for him to do it in a game like this after a long lay off and no warm up game in the reserves.

Lightweight bench against Bulls there IMO, and barring a mistake in what was an overall poor team performance on Sunday Blaymire has had a cracking season so far, so can't imagine any situation that switching Rooney for Blaymire would get us out of
I'd go with that apart from having Bibb in for either Rooney or Latu, if Rooney in the 17 he could go to stand off with Sam to hooker to spell Drew.

should explain myself better , its no slant on Matty b at all i just mean that we have only have room for 1 back as a replacement to keep the strength in the forwards. Rooney is more versatile and could adapt to either of the half backs or full back in case JK needs to unexpectedly make changes due to injuries ect.

thought sculthorpe went ok sunday, he offers us something none of the other forwards (moore excepted) do in that he is constantly trying to create 2nd phase play. that is an area we are generally weak in. he also made some decent yards at a time when our pack was being dominated. gotta play for me. I think bibb will return with pitts given a well earned rest.
obst and brough halves with drew and Latu rotating. give rooney more time. martin has done ok at 6 but think its time for him to revert back to centre now we are struggling for wingers.

Think that is the most likely line-up. Really can't see Rooney being thrown in so soon after starting full-training and can't see George being risked.

| Might be controversial moving JD back into the centre but I'd go with:
Blaymire
Grix
Demetriou
Atkins
Gleeson
Martin
Brough
Wilkes
Drew
Bibb
Snitch
Pitts
Ferguson
Sculthorpe
Moore
Obst
Winterstein/Henderson
I like Martin at Stand Off and Winterstein seems to be getting some good reviews, it might be an opportunity to give him some game time and if he comes through could feature in the Cup.

| If you're interested i;m expecting Bradford to go:
Halley
Tadulala
Nero
Platt
Sheriffe
Sykes
Jeffries
Lynch
Newton
Kopzcak
Menzies
Burgess
Langley
Kopzcak
Worrincy
Rinaldi
Cook
Hopefully Platt will be like he was aginst Saints rather than at Warrington. Looks set to be a good match.

The Wigan fan who posted said he and Latu were head and shoulders above anyone on our side in the 2nd team against Wigan - reminded him of Israel Falou. Of course all the side could have been so bad that it was not difficult to shine.
The guy who owns the chip shop where I go (seriously) said that he had a good game against Hull but opinions are like a**e holes, everyone has one.

Bit O/T but is it by any chance the chip shop near the big Morrisons? Just I went in once and it had a few Wakey tops on the wall.

Agreed, thought he had a decent game on Sunday and always looks for the offload which causes the defence problems. At times though the players need to be more aware as they are caught by suprise

Its the one on George-a-Green Road. The guy is a Trinity fan and I think he also sponsors Stanley Rangers.
Best Fish & Chips in Wakefield (along with St Michaels) but don't want to open up that debate again.
