Obst back makes things a little easier. Bibb and Geroge to miss out. Henderson has begun the season like a man possessed so only fair for him to retain his place.

With Obst back we have a decent chance, that's a relief.

looks like at least one injured player will return then scully obst or george. think sam is the highest priority tbh

as in JD also? cant really see any alternative. someone mentioned halley but cant see it personally and anyway he's playing too well on the wing. at least if jd moves he's gonna be involved more, his tackling is ok and we have forward cover to take his place

If Obst doesn’t make it then I would’ve thought JD would move to 6 with Pitts at 13 and Bibb coming into the 17.

If Obst Doesn't play, maybe instead of having 4 forwards on the bench we could look at having Luke George on the bench. This way we could use Atkins as some kind of impact back-rower and get him involved more in the game? He is less likely to get quality wide ball without a recognised ball player in the halves so it may be a good alternative.

I just don't rate Bibb at all to be honest

edit: Stosic and Wilkes have to start the game for me as well.

There's time for him yet, he's only young, but he certainly hasn't made the most of his chance in the first 3 games.

he's older than the other young forwards that we have and i just don't see anything that indicates he will be near the 17 should we not be decimated by injuries. fwiw i thought the same last season

IF Sam is fit it means less disruption, so it`s fingers crossed. Apart from Westwood, Carvell is also missing for Wire, for me he was their best player last Friday so that`s a bonus as well. I also hope Lowes leaves Riley at FB after last wek`s display.

I wouldn't be too optimistic about Obst, having broken down at least twice with his hamstring problem.

If Obst doesn't play, I think it would be of benefit to bring the experience and ball-handling skills of Scully back into the team and moving JD to 6.

Dont see how we can consider Sculthorpe in the starting 13 he will be nowhere near match fit

Suppose not, stick him on the bench then but we'll probably need his services! We could really do with a ball handling forward in the mix.

Whilst it's quite obvious we'll struggle in the half backs, what about the hooking role? Brad Drew has been sensational but he'll be asked to do another 80 minutes and after another 5 day turnaround!

Regardless of the outcome, lets just hope for no more injuries and a spirited performance

Thats the way i see it, anything else would come as a bonus.
