I have managed to resolve by selecting the "Desktop Site" option on my mobile phone. This shows the page as if viewed on a desktop as opposed to a mobile. It's still temperamental though

I'm on mobile. No problem for me. I'm on Edge. Don't get any popups.

Get DuckDuckgo, no problems on any format, plus you don't get silly ads.

Same here with multiple attempts to reload the page because adverts were somehow blocking the touchscreen from registering. These issues have been going on for years, periodically it gets better but then the problems occur all over again. It will be the end of this site eventually.

I've just installed duckduckgo on my Android phone, and it's brilliant for this website. Before that, it was a real pain with adverts and pop-ups all over the place. (my Windows desktop has always worked fine)
