| [quote="JamieRobinson1234":2iuwbp7v]He's notoriously the biggest trouble causer in the past 10 years of the NRL, I'm fine with him never playing Rugby League again never mind for Trinity.[/quote:2iuwbp7v]
Had a falling out session at just about every club he’s been at…
Which is probably why St George only offered him a limited contract.

| Salford latest, affecting us...
Salford "...can sell to only four clubs – Castleford, Wakefield, Leigh and Hull, although that might change by this Wednesday following another RFL meeting,” King told League Express.
“We have been offered a minimal transfer fee, for example, for one of our leading players.
At this Wednesday’s meeting League Express understands that the clubs will agree to a two-week period in which the above four clubs will be able to bid for Salford players with a view to reaching the maximum salary cap level."
His statement seems a little contradictory - it actually looks like to 2 week window was granted a fortnight ago and that it could change this Wednesday.

So they’ve received offers from 4 clubs but are holding out it seems. From that it appears they want exemptions to invite competition from clubs that are full on cap and quota to drive up and coming.
That’s hardly what was supposed to happen. It’s nice they’re in a position to just not bother accepting offers it seems.
I hope majority of clubs like previous vote refuse to grant cap and quota exemptions.
Why should clubs spent on cap and quota be afforded the opportunity.
I could understand if there was no offers but that doesn’t seem the case.

Matt shaw( who has been excellent covering the Salford mess) ha been answering questions on Twitter. Looking like nothing’s happening until another vote on Wednesday to allow dispensations on salary and quota cap…
Clubs have put bids in but Salford not answering their phone..
With the upshot being that the clubs are becoming p?;”ed with the RFLs soft stance on proceedings

https://www.totalrl.com/salford-red-dev ... this-week/
So, the real reason emerges.
Salford instructed to sell players immediately over a week ago. It appears they have no intention of doing so and are trying to keep the squad ‘hoping’ that the new investors deal goes through.
Smells of more delay tactics in hope. Salford not happy at a small fee for one of their better players. They should be lucky they have any and they won’t if they carry on.

I’m not surprised. Salford are taking the Mickey it seems out of the RFL and the other SL clubs if they’re not entertaining or leaning their phone of the hook. Delay tactics.
They’re holding off for either a bidding war or new investment. It stinks rotten when there’s 4 clubs wanting to secure players that the RFL instructed to happen.
Salford are rapidly becoming my least favourite team.
