Difficult to understand how teams with so many brilliant individuals can turn out such a poor game.

Catalan are the great spoilers of the game (along with saints) they just constantly spoiled and slowed down the ruck, just as saints have for the last 4 years. It’s an awful tactic that’s crept in to the game, Wigan just stuck at it and if not for a forward pass and the yellow on Davies for pulling Marshall back, they would have had a couple more scores. Dragons never looked like they had a try in them, Tom was excellent in defense but they never got any ball to him in open space.
I agree it wasn’t the best game for the neutral, but at least the result wasn’t decided until the last couple of minutes.

The Toulouse v London game was far more enjoyable and entertaining than Catalans v Wigan.
