Have seen coaches in the past say that this is the real testing game over the Easter period....yes, the two close games are hard but the fatigue factor really kicks in the week after!
This will be where we see whether Willie got it right sending a weakened team to Wigan. The points difference hurt us, but it was a game we were never going to win...the previous week we threw everything at them and came up short so was a huge ask.
We've a good recent record at KR winning on 4 of our last 5 visits....if the players who were missing at Wigan were in fact rested/dropped and not injured and they come back in then we could be a totally different proposition.
In Fifita, Arona, Hood, Whitbread, Crowther there's 5 fresh forwards to come in and that will be a huge difference, as it would be with Max and TJ back in...Batchelor only played one of the Easter games too so there should be no lack of energy in the forwards.
KR had two much harder games than we had and only made 4 changes so there's no excuses and we should have the upper hand in the energy stakes and if one team is hit by the fatigue factor it shouldnt be us....confidence could win the day though as one team goes in off 5 straight wins against one off 3 straight losses! Not a lost cause though if we can put the last couple of weeks behind us and play how we have away at the likes of Saints, Catalans, Warrington...
