Would have been the perfect game for Pauli. If we'd had him when we were camped on their line he would have got over. Just like his try for Salford at Magic.
He also scored two more tries last night - 3 in the last 2 games.......

Intrigued by this comment. What has the recent relatively good seasons papered over?

It was interesting CC's comments re. Pauli, saying he's become too comfortable, maybe he's not the only one?? Just rewind 3 weeks ago, 3rd in the league after the horror run of injuries, then off to London to right the wrongs of that opening day shocker......maybe some players have rested on their laurels somewhat, maybe things at the club have become too easy, they have believed their own hype perhaps?? You can only use the injury excuse for so long, niggles we are told by certain people are to blame, don't other clubs have players with similar 'niggles?' The last month or so has been hugely disappointing, I know it hasn't helped chopping and changing, but going back to that London defeat, that 'performance' was unforgiveable, as if now some malaise is sitting over the club. I'm not sure this group of players have the mental strength over a full season to perform and to stay focused, I hope i'm wrong, but of course that's where the coaching staff come into play surely?
