That rule changed quite a few years ago

I think that rule change was a good one.
If it goes over, why should we care if it was touched.

Well that Change must have passed me by. I can't say I agree with a kick so obviously missing by a good bit being deflected over and that being ok, but if that's the rule then that's the rule

I tend to agree with PT, it’s messy but parts of all sports are, there has to be an element of chance. If nothing else it takes the pressure off the officials, it’s one less thing they can be crucified for which is probably for the best
