It helps with rhyming though. How else are you going to rhyme "about" with "apart" except by making it "abart".

Fair enough, but one question, why doesn't he talk like that all the time . I find it very strange why people discard their accents. One thing I always remember being told by my grandfather was " never forget where you come from"

Sounds Like he's from Crigg, a lot of us speak just like that around here. Loved it.
