Quote ="dull nickname"With a salary cap, you have to decide is it better having a molloy/lomax or a washbrook/ashurst.
prob bad examples, but the point is do you want injury prone superstars or good players who turn up every week.'"
Don't think you can class Molloy as a 'turn up every week' player. Maybe for the treatment table?
Ashurst had a groin injury when he first joined us and apart from recently has be injury free.
Lomax has only just become injury prone and Saints have doubts over his knees.
My point being that, if Saints can't take a gamble on Lomax, they must be feeling the pinch, 10 years ago, they would have kept him as a luxury.
It's like Dean Collis, good centre but spent half the time in the stand.
Do you retain Molloy or have faith in Batchelor and Crowther?
