You’re not cursed, he was unfortunately the same at Salford. He just seems prone to picking up injuries which is a massive shame. I expexted him to go to Wakefield and kick on and finally show Super League what the fuss was all about when Koukash brought him over, it now seems we’ll never get see that in Super League.
I fear that Locke will be one of those players in RL that people look back and say what if? A combination of injuries, questionable off-field antics, and I suspect a lack of having his heart in the game has caused him to be shipped-out by NZ Warriors, Salford, and eventually Wakefield. The lad's got talent, but he looks like he isn't enjoying his chosen profession. At least Wakey have not really lost anything in giving him a go.
I would go with that Pop Tart he put his body in the line of fire where others did not I hope he gets over the injury soon and has a better future ahead
I'd say he had plenty of heart at Salford too. He often played when injured, purely because he wanted to. Against Cas at home and Hull away this season he was practically on one leg, playing through the pain barrier but was still the best player on the pitch.
He's just injury prone. Whether it's his knee, grown, shoulder, chest, arm there is a never ending list of problems - a real shame, for a very talented RL player.
