And do you know what else is hard to believe? Hardly any injuries!!! When you come to think how many injuries we have had this year - we have been verrrry lucky. Especially the backs. (Fingers crossed for the rest of season).

Mellar - that was/is a bad injury

Injuries have kept 3 of our overseas signings out for big parts of the season. Those were to players that were probably expected to be our top performers all season Southern, Mellars and Aiton.
The other players have done really well to cover those losses without us noticing too much.

Well done to all this season, let's hope we still have 3or 4 games to go.

And that's what i am saying we have been really lucky for the amount of players out due to injuries this season. And the calibre that is there to step up. That's the way any coach would like to have it. Nobody can take there position for granted - just the way it should be. e.g. FB - other FB's that are there... L Smith, Ben, Syko i wouldn't be surprised if there are others within the team without having to look outside of the club.
