Some H/B's can get their pack moving, but even this is dependent on them wanting to. Some H/B's will produce individual bits of magic even if the pack is beaten though this will rarely involve actually winning the game.
Some H/B's will run around like nutters, bawling, ducking and diving. Sadly although it looks good and pleases a section of the crowd it rarely achieves much.
BJ is not one of the above, but in a team that is on the front foot he will have a field day. For what we need he fits the bill and will compliment Brough who's all of the above some of the time.
IMO BJ is one of the most consistent players I have ever seen. He always plays the same game at the same reasoned tempo, his success almost always depends on the teams performance as a whole. He is a team player.
I don't know but I suspect Kear finds BJ a very easy player to coach.'"
